The stupid of me a fell asleep for too long now i woke up late that i need to be in hurry to go on school. I knew it staying up late will really makes you fall asleep for too long. I stayed up all night last night i couldn't sleep i dont even know why, i feel like there's something messing up my mind that i can't explain. Now i only have thirty minutes to get ready, but i knew im not gonna make it, im probably gonna be in detention for getting late.
I hurriedly brush my hair and do my simple make up to at least look presentable. One thing i hate, i dont know what wear. damn it I forgot to wash all my clothes and now i have nothing to wear. I opened the other wardrobe to search anything to wear, when a doorbell keep ringing, i ignore it cause i knew my mom is downstair. But then it keep ringing that it annoyed me.
"Mum, can you get the door?" I yelled, as i kept searching some clothes,but the doorbell keeps ringing that i had no choice but answer that fucking door. I groaned, i quickly run downstair i looked at the living room seeing no one here. Im already late and whoever this person pastering us is getting on my nerves.
I twisted the door knob and opened the front door, "What-" I stopped when i realised that it was Alex ringing our doorbell. He's wearing some black blazer and just white shirt underneat. His eyes were all over me, he looked me up and down and suddenly looked away. That when i realise that im almost half naked with only towel wrapping all over my body. Shit shit
"Sorry, um...what are you doing here?" I asked, feeling a little awkward. My hands are clenched around the soft fabric of my towel and my eyes keep darting down to make sure that the towel is securely covering my naked body.
He cleared his throat, "I came 'ere to return this bowl that you forgot yesterday." Alex said, his eyes immediately looked away again.
"Oh yeah thanks." I smiled as i took the bowl while my other hands are securely holding my towel. Oh god this is so embarrassing.
"Ellie, who's that?" I heard mom called through the laundry room. Finally, that is why she couldn't hear the door bell, "Oh you are Alex right?"
"Morning Mrs. Pugh, yer new neighbors." Alex nodded, greeting my mom as best as he could.
My mom just smiled and she turned to looked at me up and down as well. "Oh dear, Ellie, what are you wearing?" Mum asked, furrowing her eye brow to me.
Oh boy, my mom makes it more awkward.
I looked at Alex first who's not looking at us and probably looking down and really feel so awkward as well. "I..i was getting dress but no one answering the door." I explained.
"Well..get dress now." My mom said, as she took the bowl on my hand. I quickly walked upstairs not saying anything to Alex, this is probably the most embarrassing happened to my life, mostly half naked in front of him. I heard my mom that she apologized at him as i heared them talking about the food that she gave to Alex and specifically Alex say thank you. That when i realise that im actually in hurry, i run towards my room to see the time that i am now officially late. Oh God no
