The next morning i woke up with full of regret. I knew i will gonna regret sleeping late, i had to woke up seven at least for school. Last night when i couldn't sleep, something is messing my mind, or probably because of a little silence or awkward happened last night between me and Alex. It looks like his head is leaning towards me, i feel it moving like we're about to kiss, but thats impossible, maybe im just dizzy or it just on my head when it's probably its nothing.
Im sure Alex had already left. When im done taking a shower and fix myself i immediately went downstairs only to find out that Alex is still here on the kitchen having a coffee.
My heart race for a moment when he looked over at me. Oh God, what does it mean?
"Hey, you're still here." I said kindly and making my way on the fridge to grabbed some water.
"Yer Mum called, it says they are going home tonight." Alex said to me, our eyes met as soon i looked at him, but i couldn't stare straight at his eyes, fuck! What the hell is that? It make me nervous just looking at his eyes.
I cleared my throat. "Oh okay, well..uh i gotta go." I closed the fridge, there's no way im staying here with him.
"Don't you wanna eat some breakfast?" He asked, lifting his eyebrow. Obviously sounding like a Mom as always.
"No it's fine, beside im late." I gently smiled and he just only nodded his head.
I immediately walked towards at the front door and went to school. While on school i just told myself to act normal and act like there's nothing wrong, i mean there's literally nothing wrong. But fuck, what's wrong with me why i feel nervous around him. I dont wanna act so weird when im around him, i should just act normal.
I couldn't hide anymore to Brooke about Alex. I wanted to tell her about Alex, i mean i think we're gonna be friends anyway. It's lunch break, me and Brooke were on the cafeteria just the two of us and thankfully Sandie and Emma are not here cause i dont feel comfortable talking about guy when they are around. Its not that i dont trust them, i just trust Brooke more than them. Maybe its a right time to tell her about Alex Aka our new neighbors.
I begun to tell her.
"For real? He stayed all night at your house?" Brooke asked excitedly and sipped on her soda.
"It was my mom's idea." I said and wiped my lips with a lipstick stain all over the napkin.
"Nothing happened?" She smirked.
"Of coure not, we just had fun and we are sort of friends." I tell her, it was a great night with Alex, i really do had fun last night with him and he's actually funny and fun to have fun to.
"Oh my God, you are blushing." She teased, then I realized i have a smile on my face that make me feel embarrassed that im actually smiling over the scenario last night.
