4. Coffee Shops

Dino walked to school as slow as possible. She was dreading today, the pairs they were put a week ago in were meant to show their presentation but Dino and Hayes had done nothing but talk.

She had told him so much stuff that no one else knew, mostly because no one else took any interest in her at all. She decided to keep her distance from Hayes though, nothing good ever came from getting close to someone.

After debating weather or not Dino should go to school she decided on ditching. Cause no one needs an education right?

Dino couldn't just go home because Krissy wouldn't have left for work yet, so instead she went to Starbucks.

She ordered the usual, a caramel cream frap, and it came almost instantly.

She chose a quiet booth in the corner of the shop. Far away from everyone else where she could just be with herself in peace. She got out her macbook that she always kept with her and placed it on the table. It automatically connected to the wifi due to her coming here often.

"Ah, tumblr" she whispered to herself as she opened up the mainstream website.

She took a sip of her drink as she scrolled down her dashboard.

The only sound was her clicking at the laptop and people walking in and out of the shop. The silence was killing her, Dino was never the type of person to just sit in silence and enjoy it. She decided to take out her headphones and plug them into her laptop, she opened up 'sound cloud' and played the playlist titled 'relax'. Her music taste depended on her mood, and right now she was in a 'relaxed kind of mood'.

She sat there indulged in her music and blog.

"Why do all good things come to an end" she whispered to herself as she took the last sip of her drink.

"It doesn't have to end, you could get another one you know" Someone said from infront of her table. Ah of course, Hayes.

"You should be at school" she stated, not taking her eyes off of her computer screen. By now she had taken her earphones out, as much as she didn't want to talk to hayes she didn't want to be rude.

"So should you" Hayes smirked as he sat on the chair infront of Dino.

"Yes well I'm ill" she faked a cough that couldn't even trick a goldfish into believing she's sick.

"Then you should be at home resting" Hayes' smart comments where starting to become an annoyance to Dino. She shut down her laptop and placed it back into her bag. She looked at Hayes, waiting for him to say something else. She had no reason to not answer his last remark, but she was too tired to put up with him trying to be smart.

"Since we're both bunking we should hang out together" Hayes proposed. Dino got a strange feeling in her stomach.... Butterfly's almost? She has never been treated nicely by another human being other than Krissy and teachers but they're kind of forced to be nice.

"Uh- I don't know." She stuttered her words out, what if this was a set up? What if hayes was just gonna lead her to trouble.

"Come on, we can go to my house. No one will be there so no one will know we're bunking" he suggested.

Dino finally gave in and agreed, she slowly nodded her head and a smile appeared on Hayes' face.

They walked for about 15 minutes before arrive at large house. The outside was exposed brick, it looked to only have two floors which was normal size I guess.

They walked in through the large oak door and Dino was shocked. The house was even bigger on the inside. The hallway had doors on it all around, there was a large staircase which lead to another hallway but she couldn't really see into it.

"Your house is massive" she breathed out, earning a smirk from Hayes.

Hayes lead her upstairs, and as she thought it was huge, there was even another staircase that must lead to another floor.

" this is my room" Hayes opened one of the doors and revealed a giant room.

There was a bed pressed again the wall, a TV stuck to another wall with many game consoles below it and there was what seemed to be a walk in wardrobe.

"You must be so rich" Dino said, still admiring his room.

Krissy never told Dino how much she earned, but she earned enough for the two of them to have everything they need plus more. They lived in a four bedroom house so they didn't have it too bad, they had it pretty good to be honest.

"Meh I guess" Hayes shrugged it off.

He walked into his room and slumped onto his bed, Dino stood awkwardly in the door way, unsure of what to do.

"Come sit down" Hayes smiled, Dino let out a deep breath before placing her bag by the door and sitting on the edge of Hayes' bed.

"So, tell me about yourself" Hayes questioned, this was the one thing Dino dreaded.

"There's nothing to know" She sighed, this was a lie because her life was in all honesty crazy.

"Come on, you're mysterious and don't let anyone know anything about you. You must have some sort of secret"

"There's a reason that it's a secret " she grew frustrated very quickly, she knew hayes was only interested but it was honestly none of his business.

"You interest me. And I plan on finding out more about you Dino"
