"I-is it really you?" The shota asked as he approached me. As he got closer, I realized that he had tears in his eyes. Was he crying for me?

"Yes, Ouma-kun, it's me." I smiled. I extended my arms out to give him a hug. He jumped into my arms, allowing me to hold him as he cried. I couldn't help but let out a few tears as well. Its been such a long time since I had last seen Ouma. When we were younger, we attended the same Daycare. He was a new student, quite shy but otherwise very nice. He approached me on the playground during recess to ask if I wanted to play with him. I would've thought he wanted to play tag or hide and seek, but instead he offered me a card game. Intrigued, I took his offer and the rest was history. He would come over to my house every day for the next five years, until we were about eight years old. One day he came over crying, we didn't attend the same elementary school, so I figured maybe something happened in school that day. I still remember, he showed me a letter that he obtained from his father stating that within the week, a barrier would be set up and no one from their side of the country could enter our side. In a matter of seconds, we were both crying and holding each other. Even at the early age of eight years old, I knew I wanted to be with Ouma in a romantic way. He was the only person who could say anything to me and I would gush with emotion. In case you haven't noticed, I'm pretty bad with emotions, so that says a lot.

"Saihara-chan, I missed you! Look!" Ouma called out. I glanced in his direction. On his wrist, there was a grey woven bracelet I had made him when we were four years old. I have the matching one that he made on my wrist, it's an eye catching checkered. I smiled at the bracelet and ruffled his hair. He blushed softly and fixed it.

"Ahem." Kaede cleared her throat. I subconsciously rolled my eyes.

"What? Can't you see we're talking here." Ouma asked. Am audible gasp was heard collectively amongst our councilmen, myself included.

"Excuse me? Aren't you a president? You're setting a bad example!" Kaede snapped, quickly getting the attention of Kirumi.

"That's enough now. I apologize, Ouma-kun, would you like to start the meeting?" She interrupted. Ouma looked to me and nodded. He turned and walked to the head of the table, taking his seats. Within seconds, his entire party was seated alongside him. Well, everyone except for Rantaro, who was currently standing behind and off to the side of him. Even their posture was really neat and proper. I sighed and took my place. It took a bit longer for our side to be seated, but it eventually happened and we got started.

"Okay, so let's go over the facts. Our empress, Mrs. Lucille, has decided to grant us a joint event. She'll observe the event, and decided then on whether or not she'll consider lifting our barrier." Kokichi stated as he rummaged through his school bag. He pulled out what seemed to be a small tablet and a stylus.

"Yes, so I was thinking, what about a dance? Like a prom or a homecoming?" Kaede inquired. As she continued to talk, Kokichi finished setting up his tablet, he glanced to Rantaro and nodded. Rantaro returned the nod and walked over to the light switch, shutting the lights off and quickly taking his place again.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually agree with you Kaede." He pulled up a 3D holograph of a beautiful party hall on his tablet, rotating the holograph for all to see. "I was thinking this place. It's affordable, there's enough space for everyone from both schools, open catering, and a stage. If you disagree, please speak out."

"Oh wow, that's perfect!" Kaede smiled. She seemed to be at ease for now. The hall was perfect.

"I'm not so sure, a formal event would look pretty weird there." Rantaro spoke up. Our side of the table looked to him, almost everyone giving him a pitiful look.
