Second P.O.V

Once you got over all that embarrassing stuff and finished the delicious omelette, you both went to Mina's room and hung out

You watched a few movies, making fun of the characters and how poor the acting was
Also you FaceTimed Denki and Kiri who were surprisingly awake at Denki's place. You chatted with them — Mina doing most of the talking while you just watched —  and actually had a good time
For once

You even forgot about the man back in your apartment, probably tearing shit down just to find you. Oh how you were gonna get it once you come back

When you thought about that, you felt your mood drop. You didn't feel good anymore, you didn't want to laugh anymore. You felt guilty, you wanted to open your stomach and let your organs spill just to feel free for once. Just for once. Just for once in your life...

"Hey man, what looks better on me, yellow or purple" Mina broke you out of your repeating thoughts as she stood before you holding up two flashy dresses which were just slightly above the midway of her thighs
"Uh" you started "if I were you I'd wear the yellow one in public and the purple one to parties" you flashed her a very forced smile

She snapped her fingers and then pointed at you "that's it! Thanks man, you're the best!" She said as she reached into her large wardrobe again
It was agonizing to socialize for you at this point. You just wanted to sleep. Again. As always

"Hey Mina I think imma head out. I still have some stuff I need to do" you said, standing up since you were sitting on her bed. Mina nodded and followed you to the bottom floor to see you out the door
"You sure?" She asked one last time as you put in your shoes and a jacket
"Yeah, don't worry, I'll be alright" you hugged her and left her house. She waved at you as you left

The world outside was so cold. You knew that it was only going to get colder. Yes, you didn't like it when it was warm, but you also didn't like it when it was cold
Both made you feel some sort of shitty way in the end. Dunno, might be just you though

You made your way towards your apartment, not really wanting to see what the fuck will Katsuki do to you
With all honesty, you'd rather stay at Mina's house than wherever right now. You'd shield yourself from the putrid world out here and wish your life away. But that was never an option was it
You had to man up and face your fears

You looked at your apartment door, not remembering when you got here thanks to your dissociation
There it was. Right behind this door. He probably waited until you came back. He knew you'd do so at one point. He knew you didn't have a place to stay since you don't like being a burden to your friends. And heck, he knew that even if you did hide there, you'd come back within an instant with a mare mention of murder

You gulped and unlocked the door. You got in and locked the door, not wanting to look around the room at all
And lucky you, you didn't even have to

Within seconds, hands snaked around your waist and held you firmly against Katsuki's chest. His head was placed on your shoulder and his weight was on you, still holding the door
"Care to explain where did you go?" He spoke, clearly in a deep and a frustrated tone of voice. Yet he tried to hide it behind the façade of a calm one
Maybe he was trying to pry the answer —he already knew — out of you just to punish you for a lie

You let out a shaky breath, feeling your body quiver "I just needed some fresh air..." you said a partial truth
Unfortunately for you, he saw through it as clear as day "I'll ask again Y/n, where did you go?" His voice got more demanding and his hold got more tight
"You wouldn't turn off your phone completely so I couldn't make sure you were safe if you were just going out on a walk"
So turning off your phone blocks him out too, great, you can write that down into your mind journal

"I'm sorry..." You apologized, slightly turning your head around to kiss his cheek, hoping it would somehow calm him down a bit "I'm sorry..."
A hum bubbled in his throat "you were at Mina's right?" He drilled his head deeper into your shoulder as you pat and kissed him

What would happen if you lied? Would it be worse? Probably. He'd also maybe figure it out that it isn't the truth. Fuck...
You slightly nodded your head, not having a good feeling about this at all
You really wanted to run back to Mina's right now just to make sure she'll be safe

Katsuki just hummed, kissing you back but this time on your lips "good boy, you know you shouldn't lie to me"
His voice still had that dark undertone but it was softly fading... At least you thought. You couldn't tell anymore
"I'm only trying to protect you, you know that I love you, don't you darling?" He cooed, trying to push you closer to himself if that was even possible
Protect you your ass. Isolation isn't love

Even through your thoughts, you hum as if in agreement
He kissed you again "good. Today I want to spend rest of the day with you. Do you want to watch movies here or something?" He asked
He went from 'I'll murder anyone you care about' to 'hey wanna Netflix and chill' really quick

You nodded so he'd finally let you out of his death grip
