They laughed till they could laugh no more. "I love that child", said Vin.

"She is the sweetest girl on earth", Gayles admitted.

"Is she your baby sister?", Vin asked.

"She's like one to me. It is actually a long story", said Gayles. She told Vin of how she met Abena and Aunt Addowah and how they had made impact in her life. She was blissful she had such a family. Vin was amazed when he heard the story, Gayles had become a part of a family she shared no blood relation with. She was even taking care of them at her age.

Vin was proud of her for her generosity to the poor family. He felt the strong desire to make her his life partner. His heart lead him to do something he did not dream of doing that soon - he proposed to Gayles. He articulated his feelings out to her in front of millions of people, as fresh as a flowing stream, as lovely as the garden of Eden and romantic as Romeo and Juliet in love. The people hailed them. Gayles was astonished, she wanted it to happen but this came out of the blues.

She happily accepted it like her life depended on it. He took her in his arms and averred, "Miss Gayles Haylie, I love you".

"I love you more", Gayles grinned.

She was a shy person but she didn't mind being in the hands of his future man in the presence of the entire world. Those that understood the meaning of love very well and shared in their wellbeing congratulated them. They received blessings and well wishes from them as well, it proved that God was in approval of it. What God had put together no man could bring apart. They had finally come together despite the troubles they have faced. It was getting late so they had to leave. Vin's hand was round Gayles as they walked majestically out to their car. When they got to the parking lot, they reluctantly let go off their hands.

"I don't wish to leave now", said Vin, mildly.

"But you have to go", Gayles said back.

"Can we meet again?", Vin asked.

"Why not?", she answered. "Make the date, I will be ready", she added.

"Tomorrow, then", Vin said.

Gayles made a bewitching smile at how his eagerness to meet her again had drawn on his face. "I will have to attend lectures so make it another time", she said.

"I did not go to class today because of you, can't you do same for me, my love?", he asked looking deep into her eyes.

Gayles had no option than to accept his request, "Fine then. I will do that for you", she said.

"I will pick you up at school", he added. Gayles stole an affectionate kiss from him and run into her car, she sped off. Vin stood there as if he had been shot, he never imagined she would do that but he loved it. He also got into his car and drove off.

Gayles soon got to her institution. She received Stellie's call immediately she entered her room. "Whoa', she silently shrieked.

"Hey! come down, tell me what the news is", said Stellie.

"Wait, let me call Rennie", Gayles said.

Rennie responded immediately she heard her phone ring and saw it was Gayles number.

"Duckie, where have you been? I have searched the whole world for you, hope you are fine?" asked Rennie.

"I am fine. I've got good news! Fresh from oven", she exclaimed.
