A few months have passed since you've had the twins and although you have never felt more exhausted in your life, you also haven't been this happy in a long time. You were sitting on the couch watching your twins while Jensen took JJ to the store to get some things for the house before you left for the weekend.
This was going to be the first time you were away from the twins for longer than a few hours and honestly if it wasn't Liz's wedding you don't think you would have done it. You loved spending time with your kids and getting to spend some time with Jensen as a family. You knew that was going to end once he had to go back to work so you had to absorb it as much as you could, but Jensen had a good point when he said it would be nice to have a weekend with just you and him before things change.
You were smiling at the thought of having a weekend alone with Jensen. He's been going to therapy since the hospital and it seems to be truly helping him but he's also been home as much as he can be, and you couldn't be more grateful. You felt like you had your Jensen back and it just made you happy. You smiled pulling out your phone and quickly snapping a picture of the twins, then sent it to Jensen saying

Y/N: So which one is going to be the first one to cause trouble this weekend? Mr. Steal your heart, or Mischievous Princess?
Jensen: Haha easily both of them. Zep is adorable but Arrow knows how to work those puppy eyes. The two of them could get away with murder together.
Y/N: Hahah valid point. Are you guys on your way home?
You waited for a reply expected Jensen to reply to your message right away but instead you heard the front door open and Jensen call out for you as JJ ran to the living room yelling
"Mama! Guess what dad got me!" JJ ran to your side showing you her new toy. You laughed at her excitement and told her to be careful of her siblings on the floor but then JJ laid on the floor to show the twins her new toy too. Jensen walked over to you smiling then leaned down giving you a kiss as he said
"Seems you guys have had fun this morning too." You wrapped your hands around his arm and pulled Jensen in for another kiss then said
"Yeah, we've been having fun. But where's my gift?" Jensen laughed as he grabbed a snack off the coffee table then laid down on the other end of the couch and winked at you as he said
"Oh, you'll get that this weekend darling."
