You Are Not Alone (Jensen x Reader)

Welcome Back

To say you were a train wreck of emotions today, would be an understatement. Today was the day you were going to Vancouver. Luckily Liz was right beside you the whole way, and you two had already found a place there. The company was putting the staff in the same building so you'd be with James as well; which of course was a big plus to Liz. But now that you were on the plane you couldn't help but feel anxious.

You didn't tell Jensen that you were moving there to film, but you told him you were coming and planning on staying with him that night. You figured you could surprise him and tell him you were going to be filming there and see how excited he would be, in person. But as you sat on the plane, your only thought was, wondering to all your old friends and enemies that lived in Vancouver.

Liz sensed your uneasy thoughts and grabbed your hand and forced you to lay your head on her shoulder as she whispered

"This is going to be great. I promise." You smiled and just took a deep breath, settling in for the long flight ahead of you.

Once you landed everyone was told to head to the apartment building and get settled then everyone would be car pooling to see the set. You quickly ran with Liz and James as the three of you headed to your apartments. On the way you got to see some of the scenery and you'd be lying if you said that a part of you didn't miss it.

Once everyone was settled in the apartment you went down to the lobby and stepped outside for some fresh air. You weren't fully familiar with this area but it was close to some places you knew; so you figured pretty soon you would know it like the back of your hand.

You walked down a few shops and found a cute book store. As you stared in the class, looking at the people walking inside you saw one of your favorite books in the showcase. When you looked up from the book you saw a man you didn't think you'd ever see in a bookstore. Your jaw dropped and then your mouth snapped shut as the guy made eye contact with you and had a smirk on his face as he waved at you.

You couldn't say a word, your blood was pumping as you slowly backed away from the window and then sprinted as fast as you could back to the apartment. When you came bursting in the doors Liz was there and caught you, stopping you as she said

"Woah Y/n! Y/N it's me! What happened?" Your breathing was all over the place, you felt as if you were hyperventilating. You looked at Liz and began crying. Liz looked around and luckily no one was in the lobby except for James. Liz looked at James telling him to get everyone else to set and that the two of you would be arriving late.

Liz took you down the hall and found the laundry room empty. As the two of you walked in Liz kept her arm around you but leaned you against the dryer as she calmly asked

"Y/n, what happened?" Your breathing was back to normal but you still felt panicked and couldn't stop yourself from crying. You looked at your best friend shaking your head as you said

"I saw him. He was in the book store 4 shops down...Liz I can't live here if he's that close. I thought I'd never see him again." Liz took a deep breath nodding but then put a finger under your chin as she replied

"Steve, you saw Steve?" You squinted your eyebrows a little annoyed now as you said

"Yes. Who else?" Liz raised her eyebrows in shock then softly laughed as she shook her head saying

"Woah, don't be snapping at me. Y/n I know you hate his guts, and you have valid reasons so; but he is NOT in your life anymore. I don't know why he's here, considering he lives further out but if you don't feel safe here, I'm sure we can find you a different place, or we can ask Jensen today...you said you were spending the night with him anyway." You took a shaky breath nodding your head. But then Liz grabbed both of your shoulders continuing "And..you will not be left alone today. We are going on set and we all will be together and then I will take you right over to Jensen. Ok?" You took a final deep breath calming yourself down as you wiped the remaining tears off your face and then went with Liz to the bathroom to splash some cold water on your face.
