Everything started off like any other day, you'd wake up early and flop out of bed, finding whatever comfortable clothes you could, and then head to work. But as your day went on, somethings started to change.
You worked at a cute cafe in Austin Texas, called 'A Latte Fun' which you truly enjoyed, but there were a lot of days your boss would get on your case and annoy you; making you question why you were working there. You've worked there for almost two years now, and you had a few regular customers you loved and a handful you hated.
Whenever you got dressed you'd try to look good, but most days when you worked the 6am shift, you didn't care at all to put make up on, or really if your outfit was the best. Today was one of those days you had to get to work early, and as you jumped out of the shower, you tried to be quiet; not waking up your roommate and best friend Liz. Liz was a deep sleeper, but you were always paranoid you'd wake her up and have to deal with her anger. She would never really be mad at you, but that women really valued her sleep and was not a morning person.
Liz was pretty opposite of you; she was very edgy and confidence oozed out of her. Liz was the type of person who wouldn't give a shit if you told her you hated what she was wearing, or how her hair was, or disagreed with her point of view; and you envied that. Liz had a sleeve of tattoos and part of her head was shaved, but she also had the sass and attitude to back up her style.

You on the other hand, you were a little more reserved. You usually would avoid a crowd or any attention if you could. You had your moments of spontaneity; usually your courage came out when Liz was right next to you, or you had some liquid courage, but generally you tended to keep to yourself. You had long brunette hair and you normally had casual or simple clothes to wear, but you always thought simpler was better.
You threw your hair into a quick bun and then walked into your room grabbing a long sleeve dress from your closet; you figured this was cute, and easy and you'd still be warm in this late fall weather. As you slid into your dress, you admired yourself in the mirror, satisfied with your outfit, then went into the kitchen to grab some breakfast.
