The next morning when you woke up Jensen was already on the phone with someone and from the muffled sounds in the bathroom, it sounded like a heated conversation. You stretched in bed but then popped your head up trying to hear who he was talking to but couldn't hear what was being said, so you slid out of bed and walked towards the door quietly.

You knew it really wasn't nice to listen, nor was it any of your business, but you were wondering if Jensen was talking to someone you knew, or if he was talking to Jannie about Steve. But then you heard Jensen muffle something about this Saturday and now you were confused. You laughed remembering it was your birthday weekend and now you were curious if Jensen was planning a birthday party for you. You walked closer to the bathroom door, and just as you were about to press your ear to it, it swung open and Jensen was right there.

You laughed giving him a normal smile as you said

"Someone woke up early, couldn't sleep?" Jensen shook his head laughing at you as he stepped forward and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you in for a strong hug and kiss. The second his lips made contact you felt those goose bumps you got every time you were with Jensen. They spread down your body and you couldn't help the moan escape from your lips as you sighed when you two broke apart. You smiled pecking his lips once more before you asked

"What was that for?" Jensen smiled back at you, still holding you close then replied

"I just wanted to kiss you. Am I not allowed to kiss my fiancee anymore?" You laughed as you squinted at him then smirked saying

"Oh you can kiss me anytime you want, but not when you aren't telling me something; like you aren't right now. What's going on?" Jensen huffed then, smiled as he let go and walked back into your room to grab his clothes as he got dressed he replied

"I was trying to get out of work early because I needed to meet up with my mom for a doctor appointment she was going to, but work said that we might have to go late. So I was yelling at them, trying to get out of it and explain that family comes first." You bit your lip understanding the situation and now realizing he probably just mentioned your birthday because if he went to see his mom, it would mean he also wouldn't be here for your birthday. You took a deep breath then sat down on the edge of the bed as you looked at him suggesting

"I know I don't know what it's like on set there really, but what if you ask Bobby to work on a different scene? Or one that you aren't needed in. Maybe they could have you kind of in the background so your stunt double could just appear there?" Jensen laughed shaking his head but then walked over to you, wrapping his arms once more around you before he placed a soft kiss on your forehead and then smiled replying

"I'm not sure about that, but I will figure something out. How are you doing today? I'm planning to stay on your set for a few hours and then James said he was free and could be with you the remaining time you guys are filming today. So you shouldn't have to deal with Sara or Steve if he's around." With just the mention of his name, your body tensed and you felt yourself filled with both anger and sadness that he still had some control over you. You bit your lip then took a deep breath before you stood up grabbing your clothes for the day and lightly smiled at Jensen as you said

"I am doing fine. And regardless of what they do, it'll be a great day because I get to spend some extra time with you and then I'll be with friends." Jensen nodded and began to say something but before he could you walked over and kissed him as you continued "Seriously, I know it's kind of a pain to have to be on my set for a little while, but I'm truly grateful...It's not that I can't handle it...it's just nice to feel safe or that I have someone in my corner." Jensen didn't say anything as he embraced you, but then lightly smiled as he looked in your eyes replying
