Payton's POV: Saturday

When the weekend rolled around, I was feeling quite anxious. This was the evening I would be going out with the friend Dan had mentioned. I hadn't been on any real dates before... Only sex dates, so this was going to be quite interesting if anything.

The guy I was meeting with tonight's name was Ben from what Dan had told me the day prior. What a basic bitch name. I hoped that it was just his name that was basic, cause there was nothing I hated more then basic bitches. Dan had also told me this guy was bisexual. I'd never been with anyone who was bi before, so I figured this would be quite the amusing date.

I spent most of the afternoon primping and making sure my outfit was hella cute. I kept second guessing myself, so I reworked the outfit about five time before finally decided on a outfit.

I was fixing my hair in the bathroom mirror, when Dean walked in.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't know you were in here. What are you doing?" He asked.

"I have a date this evening. And no, it's not a hook up. I'm going on a real date tonight."

"Wow, that's new."

I glared at him annoyed. "Thanks for being supportive."

"I'm sorry, I just didn't think-"

"Exactly, you didn't think did you?" I said cutting him off and my glare continuing to fiercen.

"Payton let me finish."

"You don't need to. I already know what your going to say. You didn't think I was capable of going on real dates. Well news flash, I am!" I huffed in anger.

"That's not what I was going to say at all. I was going to say I just didn't think you were ready yet. But if you are then that's great to hear."

My glare stopped instantly. "...Oh. Oh that's not what I expected. Um, thanks. I'm taking what you said to heart. You were right. I was acting like a addict, I'm trying to work on it. I'm not going to sleep with this guy on the first date."

"That's good. I'm really proud of you."

"Hey, if things go well tonight, maybe we can do double dates." I said sheepishly.

"That's a great idea. Margo will finally be happy you aren't hitting on me." Dean said and laughed.

"That I can't promise. I still might." I told him in complete honesty.

He laughed. "Well it's a start. We'll work on the rest later."

I smirked at him. "So do I look good? Do like my outfit? Should I change again?"

"Naw you look perfect. Your date will be more than happy with that outfit."

I smiled at him. "Thanks Dean."

***
When the evening rolled around, I said bye to Dean, and left the apartment.

Dan came to pick me up and drive me the the place Ben and I were said to meet. He said he'd introduce us, then leave shortly after.

I started to feel nervous. I had never done this kinda thing before and I was worried I would flounder and make a mess of myself.

Dan seemed to pick up on this and gave me a warm smile before saying, "There's nothing to worry about. You'll do fine hun. Ben's a nice guy, and he's not like my other friends, he's not into any weird stuff. He's pretty straight laced, but not boring."

"You sure? I always fuck this kinda shit up."

"Babe, trust me, you'll do great. He's a good guy."

I sighed. "Yeah you're probably right."
