Payton's POV*

The next morning rolled around. While I got my self ready for the day, mind snapped back to last night... Back to Dean...

The way he react to me, got me rethinking whether or not I should continue to pursue dating Ben. Ben was dreamy, and he was more then I could've ever imagined, but what if Dean changed his mind about me? What if he was finally coming to his senses and realized I was the one he should be in love with? Well then dating Ben would be a total mistake...

I shook my head as I sat in front of my bedroom vanity mirror. "No! You said you were going to swear off of him! No more hopeless dreams Payton!" I yelled at myself.

Maybe this would be for the better.

A little later in the morning...

Neither of us said anything at breakfast, but I think we both knew what the other had done the night prior. It was written all over our faces.

I badly wanted to ask Dean if he had touch himself as I had, but that went against what I had told myself. If I asked him that, it would only excite me, furthering my longing for him. If I knew anything about Dean, then I already had my answer.

"Margo is going to be here soon, once we're finished with breakfast, let's get our stuff together so when she gets here we'll be ready. She's borrowing Maggie's car so we won't have to take the train this time."

"Hmm?" I asked, my head far from this away from conversation. "Oh, right. Margo." I echoed after realizing what Dean had said. "Don't forget your swim stuff or I'll be really pissed at you." I warned him. "That's literally the only thing I want to do there."

"Yeah yeah." He said dismissively. "Is Dan coming?" He asked me as he scooped eggs into his mouth.

"Yeah, he's going to meet us there. He has some errands." I took disinterested bite of my food.

"Alright." He ate more of his food, but kept his eyes on me. "Are you okay? You seem really out of it." He asked.

"Oh me? Yeah I'm fine. I just didn't sleep well last night. I had a lot to... think about." I told him trying to be as vague as possible.

"Did you want to stay home then, maybe get some more rest?" He asked.

"What? So you can blow me off and spend the day with her? Pfft No! I literally called out of work because you told me you wanted to go together."

"That's not at all what I meant and you know it. I'm just worried about you."

"Well quit it already!" I snappped. "You are always worrying about me, but you never actually do anything helpful about it!"

"Dude, I'm literally trying to actively help you! Why do you always have to make things a fight?" He asked emotionally exhausted by me.

Why was I making this a fight? I know he was only asking me because he cared, but for some reason it just pissed me off. "Because Dean. You can't make up your mind, and it's infuriating!"

"What are you talking about Payton? That doesn't make any sen-." He started to understand. "Oh... This is about last night isn't it?" He asked.

I looked away guiltily. "So what if it is?" I asked back looking sadly. "It doesn't matter anyway."

He ran his hand through his hair. "Payton, I told you last night that it was a weird coincidence didn't I? I really don't know why I was hard." He told me genuinely. "It's not that I can't make up my mind. I've told you exactly how I feel, my body was just acting weird last night okay?"
