"You should finish your work",Izuku said as he scribbled away at his notebook

"Tch I don't get why we need to do these equations, it's not as if-",she stopped and so did he

A rather smug blonde was walking towards them both, the teacher had momentarily stepped out. Leaving the class to finish a worksheet, which Izuku had already finished.

The blonde slammed his hand on his desk, making her brother flinch. She frowned and had to forcibly hold her tongue. His red eyes moved towards her and rolled his eyes.

Had she dreamt of stabbing one of his eye's out she couldn't say but it was a tempting idea.

"K-kacchan",Izuku stuttered out under the heavy gaze of the other boy

"Oi I heard you want to be a hero",the blonde growled out making the other boy shrink into his seat

"It's possible, just because I'm quirkless doesn't mean-".

"Oi I'll say it since no one else will. You can't be a hero without a quirk",Bakugou smirked as he brushed his hair back,"Just hope isn't going to save life's Deku, so get your head out of the gutter unless I have to do it for-".

She stood up and slammed her hands on the desk gaining the attention of the rest of the class. She leaned her body to face him blocking Izuku out of view. Her gaze met his, and eyed him up and down.

"Tell me Kacchan", she forcibly smiled at him,"Do you think it takes brute strength to become the number one hero?"

He face became serious as he folded his arms,"Tch get to the point."

"Popularity, besides strength you need popularity. Gain favor of people, look at all might people admire him and respect him", she said and her expression darkened,"If there was the slightest of mistake in his past that could cause major loss in popularity dont you think so?"

"Are you threatening me?!",he yelled as he stepped closer,"I'll blast you!"

Smiling she placed her hands behind your back, leaving her open. Tilting her head, she mockingly shrugged.

"Do it."

A heavy tension filled silence hung in the air, no one said anything and no one moved. His eyes darted between her and Izuku. She'd challenged him, but at the same time made him realize how much of a threat you were.

Without resulting in fist fights. If Bakugou did proceed to beat either of them up, it wouldn't only damage her but him.

Finally he clicked his tongue in annoyance,"I'll say this once, either of you get in my way, and I'll kill you."

"Warning taken", she replied as he marched back to his seat with his friends following behind .

As she sat down, she glanced at her brother waiting for at least a thank you. Yet his gaze was fixated on the desk and his face was red. She frowned and gently placed a hand on his shoulder, he flinched. .

"Hey are you okay? Ignore what Bakugou says", she smiled softly

He managed a halfhearted smile,"Y-Yeah."

That smile wasn't enough to convince her but she didn't push it, as she continued to work on the worksheet. Izuku remained quiet and the scribbling he'd done on his notebook stopped. The notebook had been her idea, and even now he still wrote it in.

She couldn't help but glance at the blonde, who was already glaring at her. The years she'd spent protecting Izuku from his oncoming threats and violence were always for nothing.

At the end of the day Izuku would defend his actions and continue to follow him each, it irritated her so much. She sighed in frustration and looked over at her brother.

Wavy green hair, green eyes, freckles there was no way they weren't twins. However Izuku was older by a few seconds, yet he acted younger. Not that she didn't mind, physically you resembled each other. However if they placed her to be friends with Bakugou, that's where the difference shows.

"(Y/n)",Izuku called out as he poked her arm

"Yeah?", sheasked blinking a few times in confusion

"Class started",he informed her

"I didn't finish the-", she began as you rapidly searched for your worksheet

"I finished it for you",he sighed but smiled faintly

"As you know students exams are coming up and so that means choosing your high schools",the teacher said but no one spared him a glance, he sigh and continued,"Bakugou! Your trying for UA well I'm sure you'll make it..ah! And Izuku well good luck to the both of you. Either way class dismissed"

She felt no more like, sensed it all the eyes that moved to the boy besides her. Hostile, possibly angry but she met them, fire still burns. However her gaze met his, his red eyes were narrowed and an obvious hatred bloomed in them.

"Ah (y/n) you were the only one who didn't turn in your form", the teacher informed her as he stepped out

"Yeah...oh! sh-", she began but a glare from Izuku had her swallowing your words,"I need to turn in my form. Wait for me."

She hurriedly leaving him alone for too long wasn't good.

[....]

He watched as her figure rushed out the door and down the hall. He loved her he truly did but there were moments where he couldn't help but feel envious.

Yet when she stepped down and even went to far lengths to not use your quirk in front of him, he felt guilty. Guilty his own goal had made her do that but the smiles she always gave him were reassuring.

In truth Kacchans words did hurt him but he knew Kacchan just didn't see things his way. Seeing her stand up for him and even threaten Kacchan, he felt admiration then jealousy. He wished he could also stand up and feel assured his face wouldn't get blasted off.

"Oi nerd, so you think you have a chance!",he yelled shoving him back,"How do you plan to get into a hero course without a quirk?!"

"T-They are taking a course where you cab try without a quirk, its program they-."

"You think I care? Look here Izuku you'll never be a hero at most you'll be lucky to intern for a nobody",Bakugou smirked as the boys expression darkened

His eyes landed on a journal and he picked it up. The messy green haired boy looked up and his eyes widened

"Wait Kacchan!"

"Hero Notes",the blonde read out loud,"you need more than notes to be a hero."

Izuku stared in disbelief and horror as his childhood best friend exploded his notebook and through it out the window. The pages burnt and barely holding together.

"Why don't you do us a favor and take a dive off the rooftop",Bakugou grinned as his two friends laughed behind him, "Maybe you'll be lucky enough to be born with a quirk in the next life."

[....]

As they exited the class room, they were unaware of a lurking figure.

"You sure?",the teacher asked with a doubtful look

"Yeah, I want to go to UA", she repeated as the teacher did the changes

She ran back to the class room and herr heart dropped. He wasn't inside, fearing the worst she ran, ran all through the hallways. Up the stairs and to the rooftop, he wasn't there. Relief crashed into her as she fell to her knees.

He didn't take Bakugous advice, Izuku was strong. Wiping her eyes she hurriedly ran outside and began an intense search for her brother. He wasn't anywhere within the school, she was desperate now. Bakugous words had been to harsh even as a joke.

What would he have done if her brother had gone along? Could he still smirk and call himself a future hero? Could he look her in the eyes and not see Izukus face?

It didn't matter, she knew what route he'd take.
