The next day, word had spread about the new villain in town with eight limbs, that escaped from the hospital. I had gotten a call that Peter and I were wanted down at The Daily Bugle from, Betty Brant. Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, sat in his office discussing the incident.

"It's all over town, Robbie! Gossip, Rumors. Panic in the streets, if we're lucky. Crazy scientist turns himself into some kind of monster. Four mechanical arms welded right onto his body. Heh, guy named Otto Octavius winds up with eight limbs. What are the odds? Hoffman!" He screamed for Andy.

"Yes?" He said appearing instantly. Jonah gave him a confused look.

"What are we gonna call this guy?" Jonah asked him.

"Uh, uh, Doctor Octopus!" He said proudly.

"That's crap."

"Science squid?"

"Crap!"

"Dr. Strange!"

"That's pretty good." Jonah nodded in agreement. "But it's taken! Wait! Wait! I got it. Dr. Octopus." He gestured with his hands like he's making a headline. Andy tried to speak but quickly stopped himself.

"Uh, uhm, but... I like it."

"Of course you do. Dr. Octopus. New villain in town. Doc Ock." Jonah smiled proudly.

"Genius." Andy agreed.

"What, are you looking for a raise? Get out." He pointed to the door and Andy walked away with his head down.

"Chief! I found Parker and Barrett." Betty said barging into the room with us right behind her, confused.

"Hello, Cate." Robbie greeted me, patting the chair next to him which I quickly took.

"Where ya been? Looking for you all morning. Why don't you pay your phone bill. Had to call your girlfriend! Mad scientist goes berserk, and we don't have pictures!" Jonah says looking at Peter, speaking quickly.

"I heard Spider-Man and Spider-Woman were there." Robbie said giving us a pointed look, almost as if he knew something he shouldn't.

"Where were you? Photographing squirrels? You're fired." Jonah said to Peter. My head whipped around looking at him in shock.

"But..." I started to say and he put up a hand to stop me from speaking.

"Chief, the planetarium party!" Betty reminded him, dropping something off at his desk and quickly walking back out again.

"Oh, right. You're un-fired. I need you, come here." He told him as Peter had turned to leave the room. "What do you two know about high society?" He asked looking at us both.

"Oh, uh, well," Peter stuttered.

"Ah, don't answer that." Jonah said quickly. This man talks like a mile a minute. "My society photographer got hit in the head by a polo ball. You're all I got. Big party for an American hero. My, son, the astronaut. Say's he know's you." He looked at me and I nodded quickly. "I need Parker as my photographer and I need you to write a column for the paper. Robbie says your the best I got, and my son asked for you, personally." I looked at Robbie and smiled.

"Could you pay me in advance?" Peter blurted out. Jonah wheezed and starting belly laughing, before quickly stopping himself.

"You're serious? Pay you for what? Standing there? The planetarium tomorrow night, 8 pm. There's the door." He shoo'd Peter out.

We talked rates and I was going to be making 450 dollars for simply writing an article on John and attending a party, I was already invited to come to last night, by Mj and John. Peter and I left The Daily Bugle together as we were going to be taking Aunt May to the bank today to try to get the house out of foreclosure. We reached the bank and handed them all of the documents.
