After I'd left, Peter sighed. He put the scanner volume back on and got into the Spider-Man Suit, waiting by the scanner for the right call to come in. He laid on his bed and had fallen into a light sleep. He was angry about everything and the black sludge latched itself onto him. Turning his suit from red and blue to completely black. He tossed and turned with the bad dreams and his eyes shot open when the sludge covered his face.

"Where am I?" Peter asked. He was somewhere in the city and he was wearing a brand new black Spider-Man suit. He looked at himself in the large glass windows of a building. "What is this?" He touched his face. "I feel...Wow. This feels good." He stated looking at his arms and hands.

He stood up on his feet standing sideways against the building and pushed off shouting happily enjoying the energy he had from the suit. He landed on top of a large building and held himself there happily. He chuckled to himself as he pulled off the mask. Peter grinned widely.

"This is something else."

After his little test drive of the new suit he brought a tiny specimen of the sludge to Dr. Connor's. The two examined it together.

"What do you think?" Peter asked him.

"I've never seen anything like it." Dr. Connor's claimed as he looked through a microscope. "I'm a physicist, not a biologist, but let me look at it in the morning, run some tests." He said.

The tiny Specimen climbed off from the microscope and went straight for Peter.

"Can we do that now?" Peter asked him.

The sludge got closer and Peter noticed, he slammed a glass jar over it. Trapping the little bugger. It tried to get out and get at him.

"It seems to like you..." Doctor Connor's noted concerned. "Don't let any of that get on you." He warned him slowly.

"Why not?" Peter looked up at him curiously.

"It has the characteristics of a symbiote, which needs to bond with a host to survive. And sometime's these things in nature, when they bind they can be hard to unbind." He looked at Peter even more concerned.

I had went back to Mj's with my bag and she understood what happened. John was still off on a mission and it was nice for her to have someone around, and she loved the help with little John. After they went to bed, I snuck out of the house in my suit going for a patrol. I caught wind of a bank robbery that was being held by some man with sand. Immediately I knew it was Flint Marko and the likely-hood of Peter joining was high. So, I went.

When I arrived the sand had just barely stopped blowing through like a storm. I put my arm up to try to see better and followed the trail he left behind. I stood by a large grate watching the sand travel downward through it. I took a single step forward before something black put an arm out in front of me.

"I got this." The voice said with a cocky attitude. As I looked over it was a Black Spider-Man suit.

"Peter?" I whispered extremely quietly. He gave me fingers guns. Seriously, finger guns. "What the hell are you wearing?"

"You like it? Thought I could use an upgrade." He smirked beneath his mask.

A cab came to an abrupt stop behind us. Eddie Brock walked out just as Spider-Man lifted the grate from the cement ground with ease.

"Whoa! Hey, Spider-Woman. Nice to finally meet you. I'm Brock, Edward Brock Jr. I'm your new photographer. And buddy, I'm loving the new outfit. This is exactly what I need to scoop Parker." We turned to look at him as he spoke. "Give me some of that web action." He began snapping pictures.
