George POV (12 Years Later)

BANG

BANG

BANG

The bullets wizzing passing my head gave me so much adrenaline. Multiple moving targets shooting at me as I ran through the new shooting range that was installed into my family's mansion.

Suddenly, the lights in the arena turned back on, blinding me temporarily.

"How many points did you get, George?" My sister, Niki, asked me as I walked out to look at the score board.

GeorgeNotFound (404)
1,420 points [NEW RECORD]

I sighed. "A score that dad won't be pleased with," I replied, Niki smiled apologetically.

"Well, you got a new high score and that means you are improving. Besides, this machine arena thing is still new." Niki reasoned sweetly.

"I guess so," I muttered before releasing the magazine, checking that no more bullets we in it. Then, I put the safety on before hanging up the gun on the wall of them.

"We should actually update the parkour though. It's been the same since I was twelve," Niki giggled.

"Then make it a challenge...time yourself," Niki suggested. That's not a bad idea.

I opened my phone, handing it to Niki, before walking over to the start.

"3...2...1...GO!" And with that, I was off. I began sprinting towards the parallel bars, easily swinging over the pit of foam. Then quickly completing the money bars, the rope wall, the spider wall, and all the other easy obstacles that I had mastered over the years.

Now it was time for the last thing, the wall. I took a few steps back. I took a breath before sprinting as quick as I could towards the wall. I ran up part way before jumping up and grabbing onto the ledge and pulling myself up the rest of the way.

I slid down and walked over to my sister who'd stopped the timer. "How did I do?"

"You got nine minutes and thirty-seven seconds," She smiled as she showed me the timer. I frowned.

"I could have done better," I sighed, turning around to face my dad standing there with his arms crossed and a disappointed look.

"You're right, son. You could have done better. Your brother, Wilbur, completed that course in four minutes and twenty seconds."

"Dad, he's improved though! He didn't make a single error during his run and he-"

"NOT NOW, NIKI," She shut up. "George, why can't you be more like your brother?"

"I'm not Wilbur, ok? I'm George. I'll do better next time." I felt anger towards my dad, but I was also hurt at the words.

"Your brother is better than you in every way. He's quicker, smarter, funnier, and he actually has a girlfriend."
