George looked so numb. His eyes casted down at the messy sheets in which he had been laying in the past few days. I've been trying to spend as much time as I can with him though. I called his family and let them know what happened and said that I didn't think George could move but they were welcome to visit.

George's mom came by yesterday for a bit, but she said George didn't say a word to her. George rarely spoke to me too.

I walked over to George, climbing back into bed with him and I pulled him closer to me, cuddling him warmly.

"Good afternoon baby, are you doing alright?" I asked as I ran my fingers over his jaw. He met eyes with me, a slight improvement. George shook his head.

"I know, George. You're in a lot of pain, and that's okay. It's normal to feel depressed after loosing someone so close to you. That's how I felt when I lost my parents..."

George looked up at me sadly. "Parents? Your mom died too?"

"No, I don't think so. She ran away. Her and my father didn't get along. I haven't seen her since I was a teen."

"I'm sorry, Clay." Tears started to slip from his eyes.

"No, no, no, baby~ please don't cry!" I said sadly, wiping the tears away.

"I miss him, Clay. Why did he have to die?" George sobbed out. My heart was breaking seeing my lover in so much pain and frustration.

"George, look at me." He looked me in the eyes. "I know the world may seen dark right now, but your now is not forever..." George smiled sadly.

"That's very profound of you," George smiled and giggled a bit. My heart soared.

"See, there's that happy boy I love~" I cooed, a red bloom coming across George's face.

"Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you, baby." I blushed, George didn't really use pet names.

"I'm always here for you, George."

.:..:..:..:..:.

Over the next couple of days, George had gotten slightly better. He was more regular with eating and drinking. He also started reading in bed rather than just laying there and crying.

I knew it would be a while before George was completely back to normal and I knew it would be tough, but it hurt so much to see him in so much pain and agony.

After some convincing from George, I basically went back to fully working again. It took me a bit to get caught up though.

I had to re-schedule meetings, fill out lots of paperwork, and try to schedule a new mission to make up from the last missions money we lost.

I really could use an assistant...

-2 weeks later-
GEORGE POV

Why did he have to die?

"No, stop. You said you'd stop those thoughts!" I reminded myself, melting off the bed and onto the floor.

The door opened revealing Clay standing there. He bent down and lifted me off the floor, pulling me into his arms. He held me like a sack of potatoes and began to carry me out of the room.

"Dreamie? Where are we going?" I asked tiredly. He used one arm to run my back.

"We are going to spend some time with some friends. We're going to swim a bit in the outdoor pool. Is that okay? If not, I can cancel-" I put a finger to his lips.

"Shh. It's okay. I think I can handle it..."

"Okay. But if you can't, please let me know." I could tell me was being serious. He really does care for me.

Clay carried me into the pool house and we both changed into our swim suits. We then applied sunscreen and got some towels.

We walked out to the pool to see Karl and Sapnap and another man splashing each other. There was bad and someone else sitting on the sidelines watching. There was also a girl who seemed familiar but I couldn't remember where I saw her.

Clay leaned closer towards me. "Okay. So, you know Karl, Sapnap, and Bad. The man sitting next to Bad is his boyfriend, Skeppy. The third person in the pool is Quackity, Karl and Sapnap's 'friend'. And the girl, you might recognize, is my sister. Drista is her name. Make sure she doesn't get hold of a fork-" Dream shivered.

My boyfriend ran over and jumped into the pool, shouting 'CANNONBALL!' as he jumped in, completely soaking the upper half of the men next to him. I giggled.

"Sooo, you must be George. My brothers boyfriend, right?" I turned to see Drista talking to me.

"Uh- yeah. That's me. You're Drista, right?"

"Mhm. That's me!" There was a pause. "Hey, do you want to prank my brother?!" I looked at her spectacle before nodding slowly.

"Okay. So. You are going to swim around and suddenly got scared of something. Leap into Clay's arms and that's where I come in!"

"What exactly are you doing?"

"Oh, don't worry about that. You do you're part." She said with a smirk before walking away.

I decided to go along with it. What could go wrong?

I ran over to the pool before jumping in right in front of Clay. I came up to the surface to see Clay, his hair dripping wet, staring at me in shock.

"Oh you little-" He said with a smile before leaping at me. I screeched, trying to run away while in the water. Okay, Prank time.

Suddenly, I screamed. Turning around and jumping into Clay's arms. I shoved my face in his shoulder/neck area. I could tell he was giving me a confused look.

"ATTACKK!!!!" I could hear Drista scream. I lifted my head up and Clay let go of me. He began to swim away. Drista hopped into the pool. She chased him until he was corned.

"Okay, okay, Drista we can talk about this!" Drista held a fork in her hand. I laughed. Forks? That's his fear?

"Boy, you trust George too easily. He was in on it!" Clay glared at me playfully. Everyone began to laugh and Clay got out of the pool, dripping wet and a small scratch from the fork on his hand.

Dream laid down on the concrete around the pool, panting heavily. I got out and laid down next to him.

"You good piss baby?" Drista called, hanging on the side of the wall.

"Piss baby?" I questioned.

"He pissed himself in his sleep while he was sleeping with his girlfriend a couple years ago." I laughed.

"Drista, we said to forget about that! I would have gotten away with it if you haven't seen me carrying the sheets to the wash."

"Piss baby!" I said before jumping back into the pool. Clay gasped and leaped in after me. The chase was on.
