•Third Person POV•

George sat up in bed slowly, the world still loading to his senses. The boy looked over his shoulder and noticed Dream still asleep next to him, the sunlight shimmering behind him.

George quietly got out of bed and exited Dream's room. He snuck around the building. One room in particular interested George.

He opened the door to reveal a bright pool room. George smiled. He sat down on the edge of the pool, his legs dangling into the pool. It was a perfect temperature. George suddenly got the urge to swim.

He looked around the room when he found a closet full of swimsuits. He found it odd but brushed it off when he realized that Dream probably had pool parties or something.

George went into the connect bathroom, stupid rich man, and changed into the swim trunks. They were a bit to large, so he pulled on the drawstrings. He pulled off his shirt, socks, and shoes.

George used the steps and walked into the water before smiling and began to just swim around. He hadn't really swam for fun since he was a kid.

20 minutes later...

-GEORGE POV-

I came back up to the surface and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes to see Dream sitting in a chair in front of me, smirking. I gasped.

"Ya know, I didn't ask you to live down there under the water. You're allowed to breathe air." Dream wasn't wearing his mask?

"I haven't been able to swim for my own fun in a long time okay? And why are you not wearing your mask?"

"Basically everyone here has seen my face, so, what's the point? I'll still wear it on missions of course," Dream reasoned. There was a brief moment of silence.

"I'm surprised you didn't come running in here panic stricken," I teased.

"Why would I? It's not like your dad would be able to get into to take you." I frowned.

"Speaking of which...I should go back before he kills me, burries me, and then dances on my grave."

"I guess so. Get dried off and I'll take you back, I guess." Dream seemed to be bothered. I decided not to question it.

I got out of the pool and quickly dried off before getting back into my clothes. I didn't really own anything here. I grabbed my phone and that's about it. The clothes I had been wearing Dream bought when he held me here and they just kind of remained here.

———

Dream pulled out of the drive way and down the street we went.

"Ya know," He said finally breaking the silence that fell over us once we got into his BMW, "I wouldn't be surprised if your father tried to kill me...again."

I didn't reply, I just continued to look out the window.

Dream cleared his throat around ten minutes later, or I think it was ten, I zoned out. "We're here, George," Dream informed me.

"Uh- Thanks for the ride. I'll try and call you tonight to let you know if I survive my dads breathing," I joked even though it really wasn't funny.

"George, please call me if you ever need me to-" I leaned over the center console and pecked his lips. He shut up and blinked a few times.

"I'll be okay," I smiled before hopping out of the car. I waved before unlocking the front door and walking inside. I turned around to meet my father standing there, angrily. I gulped.

"Where were you?!" He asked, giving me a death glare. I felt my words get stuck in my throat.

"Well, answer me boy!"

"I-I was on a date-" I stuttered out. I mean, I guess it wasn't a lie, was it? We're Dream and I dating?

My fathers expression changed. He smiled at me softly and pulled me in for a hug. "That's great to hear son. You'll have to tell me all about it tonight at dinner!" I was a bit sus of his behavior.

"Well, let's get to training, son. We won't go as late today. I need to have a chat with your brother about some changes that are happening."

That evening (approx 7:30 PM)

I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I clicked on his contact, Pissbaby💛. It rang a few times before someone picked up the other end.

"George!"

"Dream!"

We both started laughing. I felt a large smile come over my face. "I missed hearing your voice."

"It's only been a few hours you big baby," I replied.

"That's toooooo long," Dream whined.

"Well, I'm here now, and somehow still alive. My father was ready to kill me as soon as I walked in the door," I explained.

"How'd you get out of it?"

"I kinda told him I went on a date."

"Awww. We were on a date, Georgie~"

"Shut up!" I scoffed, a red blooming flushing over my pale face.

"In seriousness though, I'm sorry about putting you in danger," Dream apologized, I smiled even though he couldn't see me.

"It's okay, Dream. I'd gladly go on a 'date' with you again."

"C-could we actually officially call it a date next time though?" He sounded nervous.

"W-what?"

"I-I'm sorr-" I cut him off.

"Of course we can," I smiled, he sighed in relief.

"Oh thank god! I thought that I upset you."

"You could never upset me," I reassured him.
