George POV
꧁☾☀☽꧂

"Hello?" I felt my heart skip a beat. I opened my mouth but nothing a came out, my throat was clogged by the thought of talking to Dream.

"Hello?" His voice rang from the other side of the phone, dragging me back into reality.

"Dream?" I breathed out. I felt myself smile and I couldn't help but laugh a bit.

"George?! Oh thank god. You're okay!" He sounded genuinely relieved.

"Why wouldn't I be okay?" I asked curiously, hoping he wasn't talking about what I think he was talking about.

"George-" He sounded hurt and I felt my chest tighten. "-I know your father slapped you. I couldn't hear what he said, but he seemed like he wasn't happy with you." 'Wow, Sherlock's calling me'

"Yeah-"

"Yeah? That's all you have to say. George, you can't just let your father treat you like that!" Dream complained.

"What am I supposed to do, huh?! My father is a Mafia Boss and you know that-!"

"And I'm not?" Dream replied in amusement causing me to scoff.

"You aren't the same as my dad dream."

"But I could be your daddy." I blushed at the suggestive comment.

"Dream!" I whined as I covered my face even though he couldn't see it.

"George," Dream called out.

"Hmm. What is it?" Dream sighed.

"I-," He had a small voice crack," I-If you ever don't wanna be there any longer. I can always come and get you."

"You know where I live?!" I asked panic-stricken. How did he found out?!

Dream wheezed. "George, I kidnapped you from your house, remember?" I felt like an idiot.

"oh."

"You're such an idiot, Georgie-" Dream cut himself out with his classic wheeze of a laugh. He should really see a doctor about that...

I heard footsteps approaching. "Okay, I gotta go. I think I hear my dad coming down the hall towards me."

"Alright. I'll talk to you soon hopefully. Bye!"

"Bye!" I replied quickly before turning off my phone, grabbing a random book, and leaped onto the bed, flipping to a random page and pretending to read.

The door opened. There in the doorway stood my sister, Niki. She had a large smile on her face.

"Who were you talking to? Your boyfriend?" Niki teased as she sat down next to me on my bed. My face redden in embarrassment.

"Niki, don't say things like that!"

"Well, atleast don't pretend to read when you have the book upside down," Niki giggled as flipped the book around.
