Cassandra
'What does liebling mean?' Cassandra typed away on her laptop searching what the words Ethan had been using meant. She learned they were terms of endearment. Liebling meant darling and perle meant pearl. She felt slight butterflies fill her stomach as she thought about what this actually meant.
'He has a whole fiancé." She said to herself.
'AND? Bitch don't act like you still won't jump his bones.' Cassandra groaned as she shook her head.
"This white man got me going crazy, I'm answering myself in my head." She mumbled.
"What was that?" She froze at the deep voice that came up behind her. Quickly shutting her laptop, she turned to see Ethan walking up and taking a seat across from her.
They were currently flying in Ethan's private jet to Chicago for this Summit.
"Oh um, nothing." She said with an uncomfortable laugh. He gave her a side smirk before taking a sip of his water.
"You know if you want me to translate what I say to you, you just have to ask." Cassandra looked up to see Ethan with a big grin on his face. She mentally face palmed herself before playfully rolling her eyes.
"I was just curious." She stated. Ethan chuckled lightly.
"It's all good prächtig." Cassandra shot him a questioning look. "Gorgeous." He said while holding her gaze.
Cassandra felt her face warm up as she quietly said thank you and went back to scrolling on her laptop. She could feel Ethan's gaze on her causing her to shift nervously.
"Why are you nervous perle?" Cassandra looked up to see Ethan still staring at her with that same smirk on his lips.
"Because you keep staring." She answered causing him to laugh.
"Better me stare than do what I'm actually thinking." He mumbled.
"Ethan!" Cassandra scolded. Ethan put his arms up in fake surrender.
"I'm done." He said. "Bis du mich anflehst." (Until you beg me.)
"What does that mean?" Cassandra asked. Ethan only gave her a smile before taking his phone out his pocket and scrolling.
Cassandra continued to stare at him as she tried to figure out what had gotten into this man. Before he stayed very professional, now he was playful and flirty. She didn't want to be one of those assistants who fell in love with her boss. 'How cliché is that?' She thought to herself.
'Everyone will think I'm a homewrecker.'
'Calm down busy becky, you haven't even kissed the man.'
'Yet.'
Cassandra shook her head again and went back to her laptop. She couldn't think about this. Ethan was off limits and she had to continue to remind herself of that. No matter how funny, sexy, handsome, STOP!
She huffed to herself to only look up to see Ethan staring at her with a chuckle.
"You're thinking so loud it's giving me a headache." He said with a wink and went back to his phone.
'Damn girl, pray for us.' Right.
...
Ethan
"Here are your keys to the presidential suite. Please let us know if you need anything." The hotel manager spoke as he handed the keys to Ethan. Ethan nodded as he grabbed Cassie's hand and pulled her to the elevator.
