Cassandra
A soft knock pulled Cassandra's focus away from her computer. She looked up to see Ethan at her door.
"May I come in?" He asked softly. Cassie shrugged as she tried to act like the sight of him didn't make her heart skip a beat.
He looked good. Like really good. Cassie hadn't saw him in weeks. He had a business trip he had to make and today was his first day back. Also before that, all of there work communication was handled between Nick and Jason. She had almost forgotten how breathtakingly handsome he was.
The door locking brought Cassie back, giving Ethan a look of alarm. He put his hands up briefly. "I just want to talk." He said softly.
"About?" Cassie asked, leaning back into her chair. Ethan looked her over quickly. His eyes moved back to hers as if he hoped she didn't see him check her out.
"You look beautiful." He said. Cassie simply nodded. Not because she was trying to be rude, but to put it simply, his presence had rendered her speechless. His crisp white button up was neatly tucked into his black pants. She couldn't help that her mind immediately went to the never ending abs that she knew sat beneath.
'Why does he have to be so handsome?' She asked herself.
Ethan took a seat in the chair in front of her desk as he leaned forward, his arms resting on his legs.
"Cassie, I have to be honest. I miss you, so fucking much." Cassie stayed glued to her seat, just staring at him. She didn't know what to say. If she was being honest with herself, she was scared to speak.
He swiped his tongue over his bottom lip in frustration, but that had a completely different affect on Cassie. She took in a deep breath and looked away from him.
"Cassie, say something. Please." Ethan said, releasing a harsh breath.
"I-I don't know what to say Ethan." She paused, taking a breath before looking up at him. "Nothing I say will change the situation."
Ethan stood and walked around Cassie's desk. He softly grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.
"Ethan-" Her sentence was cut short by a startled gasp she let out when Ethan lifted her onto her desk. He settled in-between her legs, softly rubbing her hips.
"I want you Cassie, no one else." He whispered, his lips brushing against hers. This wasn't good. She knew she needed to get him out of her office and fast. The look in his eyes showed just how much he wanted her.
She moved back slightly, only for his hand to rest on her back, preventing her from moving away anymore. She turned her head and he placed a soft kiss on her cheek. He pulled back slightly and let out a breath. "So, you and Alessandro huh?"
She turned her face to look at him. His face showed no emotion but Cassie knew he was masking his face. She could tell by the way his breathing sped up slightly. "We're just friends." Cassie answered and she felt Ethan's hand tighten on her back.
"I didn't know you kissed your friends." He said, his voice growing cold. Cassie's eyes shot up to his and this time the mask was gone. He was pissed, and she quickly looked away from his scrutiny. Trying to put distance between them she scooted back on her desk. This time he let her.
"It was just one time, I-" Cassie stopped herself and looked up at Ethan with narrowed eyes. "Why am I explaining myself? I've done nothing wrong besides sleep with you knowing you were off limits. What I and Sandro do, is none of your business." Cassie spat.
Ethan stayed quiet as he continued to look her over. Cassie squirmed slightly, his silence was starting to worry her. "So you want to be with him?" He suddenly asked. Cassie looked down, not really having an answer. Sure she liked Sandro, he was nice and charming, incredibly handsome. But. If she was being honest with her self, he didn't make her feel the way Ethan did with one glance.
