Cassandra

"Come on girl, let's go out!" Alice yelled through the phone. Cassie shook her head as she went through her closet, searching for something to wear. Alice wanted to go to lunch and she accepted.

"Lunch is us going out." Cassie responded only to here her scoff on the other end.

"No it's not!" She exclaimed. "Please, it will help you not think of Ethan." She said causing Cassie to sigh in frustration.

"Does the whole office know of my drama with Ethan?" She asked feeling slightly exposed.

"Girl no, just me, but that's because I sleep with his bestfriend." She said casually causing Cassie to gawk at her phone.

"I'm sorry, come again?" She said in disbelief. "You're sleeping with Nick?!" She exclaimed.

Alice laughed on the other end before answering. "God no, Nick is a man whore. I do good not to mess up the names when a different one comes to the office. I'm talking about Jason." She clarified.

Cassie nodded her head as if Alice could see her before grabbing a black cotton, spaghetti strapped dress and white denim jacket. She grabbed her white sneakers and proceeded to get dressed.

"Oh okay, that makes more sense, I stan you and Jason. Why the secret though?" Cassie asked. Jason didn't seem like the type to hide who he was with. Out of all of them, Jason was the most honest and responsible.

"He doesn't want the employee's all up in our business."  She stated.

"Yea but what about Nick and Ethan?" Cassie asked.

"They know." She answered quickly.

Cassie was all types of confused, Ethan never told her.

"Ethan never said a word to me." Cassie responded as she slipped on her sneakers. She grabbed her white beaded bracelet and clasped it on her wrist.

"Why would he? I'm pretty sure Jason made it clear he didn't want anyone other than him or I to share our business." She stated causing Cassie to roll her eyes.

"Honestly I'm a little annoyed that you knew me and Ethan's business but I didn't know yours." Cassie said with a sigh.

"Why would you be annoyed by that?" Alice asked with a chuckle.

"Because Jason is free to share my business with Ethan with you but not the other way around." Cassie said in frustration.

"Wrong girl, Jason didn't tell me anything about you and Ethan. You offered up that information all on your own."

"No I didn't. You had already said you knew Ethan liked me." Cassie argued.

"Yes, but that was my speculation. You opened up about everything else." Cassie face palmed herself as she shook her head.

"So stupid." She said under her breath.

Alice chuckled slightly before speaking again.

"Chick Chick work for you?" She asked.

"Yes girl, I want some chicken and french toast!" Cass said doing a little dance after looking herself over in the mirror.
