The next few weeks seemed to get worse and worse. Colin Creevey had been petrified and Lockhart was starting a dueling club this afternoon. It was just after lunch when he cornered me in the corridor, though Severus was walking with me.

"Ah! Y/n! So glad I caught you!" he exclaimed, striding toward me. "As I'm sure you know I'm starting a little dueling club this afternoon and I wondered if you might like to be my dueling partner."

"Oh... uh, I'm sure there are other teachers who are much more qualified than I am," I responded.

"Nonsense. Just because you may not be as skilled as me doesn't mean you aren't a capable witch."

Severus scoffed next to me before placing a hand on my back.

"I think you should watch the way you speak to Y/n. She is 10 times more powerful than you will ever be," he hissed.

"Well then. You must come duel with me, dear." He took my hand, pulling me away from Severus, slightly, as he pressed his disgusting lips to my hand.

"Severus, you are welcome to duel me as well... if you'd like the opportunity," Lockhart chuckled, still holding my hand. I pulled my hand away from him before agreeing to duel with him only to get him to leave me alone.

"I'd love the opportunity to duel you as well. I'm sure the students could learn a great deal from it," Severus sneered. Lockhart agreed before walking away as I pulled my wand from my robes, muttering the scourgify charm on my hand, causing Severus to chuckle. I turned around, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Aww, what's wrong, little one?" Severus asked as I buried my face in his chest. I heard a deep rumble through his chest as he found my actions amusing.

"I'm gonna vomit," I said, trying to focus on the smell of parchment, rather than Lockhart's disgusting musk, as Severus wrapped his arms around my waist.

This really made Severus chuckle as he pressed a kiss to the top of my head, seeming to find my complete disgust for Lockhart amusing.

"Not enjoying Lockhart's affections?" he asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You're probably the first woman who hasn't thrown herself at him."

"Well, I'm happy to be the first. He needs to be knocked down a few pegs."

"Agreed, but if that arrogant little git kisses your hands one more time, I might throw him off the Astronomy Tower. These soft, little hands are mine to kiss," he growled as he grabbed my hands, bringing them to his lips, planting soft kisses all over them. His voice grew deeper and took on a much darker tone. "This body is mine to kiss... to touch."

I moaned as he brought his lips to my neck, trying to suck the skin there. "I want to mark you, baby. I want Lockhart to see the marks when he's dueling you. I want him to know that you are taken," he growled against my skin as he continued pressing his lips against my neck. His teeth grazed my skin but he never went further, waiting for my permission.

"Fuck," I breathed. "Severus..."

"Yes, baby?" he whispered.

"As much as I would love to see the look on Lockhart's face, you and I both know you can't mark me anywhere people can see."

Severus whined softly and I felt his teeth graze my neck once again.

"Severus," I warned.

"Please, baby... just let me mark you. Daddy needs to mark you." He knew it drove me crazy when he called himself daddy but I had to keep my composure.

"You are the one who wanted to keep this under wraps, love."

"I'm starting to regret that decision," he groaned, slowly pulling away from my neck. I chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to his lips before pulling away.
