Chapter 20. All of me.

(A/N: hey guys! I know I don't usually do these before a chapter but.... I just wanted y'all to know that Jennifer Lopez is going to play as ' Karen' Paige's mom. I put Paige and Jennifer as the picture so you can just get an idea. Okay enjoy ch 20!)

Paige's POV

I woke up and we were still driving. Dad was driving and he looked through the mirror.

" Almost there kiddo." He said and I smiled. My mom was talking to Glenn and I smiled.

" Hey mom. How's your arm?" I asked and she looked at me.

" Doing fine Hun. wanna look at it for me?" She asked and I nodded. I put my hair in a ponytail and took off the gauze.

" It's not infected, so it's looking good." I said and she kissed my cheek.

" I love you mom. I'm glad we found you." I said and she hugged me.

" I love you too. And what made you come and look for me?" She asked.

" Well I had a dream and you were in it. You told me you weren't dead and to come home. So I just thought, maybe it was a sign. And it was." I said and she smiled.

" We're home!!" Glenn rang in a girly voice. I busted out laughing and Carl woke up.

" Morning sleeping beauty." I said and kissed him.

" Your the beautiful one." He said and his morning voice and I melted.

" You guys are cute." My mom said. Carl blushed as the car stopped. I grabbed my stuff and so did everyone else.

We walked up to the gate and it slowly opened. And we were greeted by Rick.

" Glad your back." He smiled. We all walked in and he shut the gate.

" Rick this is my mom Karen. Mom this is the leader of our group Rick." I said and they shook hands.

" Thank you for taking care of my little girl for as long as you did" my mom said and Rick nodded.

" No problem. She'd a delight." He said and I giggled. I let Carl talk to his dad as I took my mom to Deanna's. We walked up to the door and Deanna was waiting for us.

" You must be Paige's mother. I'm Deanna." She said and gave my mom a gentle hug.

" Karen."

" Why don't we get started. Paige do you mind waiting out here." I nodded as they walked in. Maggie walked up the stairs wearing a green summer dress and when she saw me She ran up and hugged me.

" Ohh I missed you so much!" She said and pulled away.

" I missed you too! I can't wait for my mom to meet my biological sister." I gushed and she smiled.

" You found her! Paige that's great!" She said and I smiled. My mom is allied out with a smile on her face and I walked over to her.

" Mom this is Maggie." I said,

" I can't believe I'm meeting the famous Maggie Greene. Paige has told me so much about you. I'm Karen." My mom said and Maggie hugged her.

" Why don't you go get settled in and we'll talk later." Maggie said and my mom nodded.

We walked own the street, saying hello to passing people.

" So did Deanna give you a job?" I asked and she looked at me and nodded.

" I'm going to be a part time nurse." She said and I smiled,

" That's amazing. Ready to see the houses?" I asked and she nodded. We walked inside the first one and we walked around.

" And this is my room. Me and Carl safe it but there's a another room not being used right across the hall." I said and she nodded.

" I trust you will all my heart darlin' but I don't want to be a grandma yet." She said and laughed.

" Well you kinda are..." I said and her eyes got big. I sat down and she sat by me.

" We stayed at this prison and walkers got in. Theses two girls, Lizzy and Mika's, dad got bit and I promised him I would take them in as my own." I said and she smiled and out her arms around me.

" Well I'm glad your taking responsibility. When do I get to meet my granddaughters?" She asked and I nodded.

" Now if you want?" I asked and she nodded.

We walked downstairs and out the door. We walked down to the park and they were playing tag.

" Lizzy! Mika! Come here." I yelled and they ran over to me,

" Yes momma ?" Mika said and I smiled.

" This is my mom Karen." I said and they smiled and that walked up to her.

" Can we call you nanny?" Lizzy asked and my mom bent down to their level.

" Of course." She said and hugged them.

" Now go play play while me and nanny go catch up. If you need us we'll be at the house." I said and kissed their head and they ran back to play.

" They are adorable and your so good with them." She said and I smiled. We walked back to the house and sat in the living room.

" Thanks. So mom can you tell em about the whole Daryl, dad thing?" I asked and she sighed and nodded.

" When I was 16 we started dating and he got me pregnant. He started drinking so I got mad and kicked him out. When you were born he didn't know. He found out and we got into a fight. I promised him he could be in little parts of your life. I'm so sorry Paige. I really am." She said and I hugged her.

" It's fine. Do you still love him." I asked and looked up at her.

" Parts of me say yes, and parts say no." She said and I nodded. Carol walked in and stopped when she saw mom.

" Karen!?!" Carol said and my mom got up and hugged her.

" You know Carol?" I asked and they nodded.

" We went to the same book reading for you and Sofia. Where is she?"mom asked and Carol looked as she was going to cry.

" I'm so sorry." My mom said and hugged her.

" It's fine. Why don't we catch up over some tea?" Carol asked and my mom looked at me. I nodded and her and Carol went in the kitchen. Every once in a while I would here my mom laugh and that made me smile. She hadn't laughed in who knows how long.

" Hey baby. Happy we got your mom?" Carl asked sitting down.

" There are no words that can describe my feelings right now. I mean I got my mom back, my dad, and I got you. My whole life his back together." I said and he smiled. He kissed me and I cuddled into his arms.

" I'm so lucky to have you all in my life." I said and laid my head down. I closed my eyes and thought about all the things me and my mom did together before this. All the good memories.

I fell asleep In deep thought...
