"Where are we Ranboo?" Clay got up from where he sat and looked around the interior. Then he looked at Ranboo, waiting for the teen to answer.
"This used to be part of a country called Snowchester. Later on, they realised that they couldn't take care of such a large area, so they dropped the territories with little to no resource value. I have a home in Snowchester but this is sort of a safe house for me.
People know about this place, some have made safe houses in other territories as well, but mine is the only house in this territory. The rest of the territories are much more popular than this one, so I get to live in seclusion. I like it, it's quiet and has a beautiful view." Ranboo told Clay. the latter nodded, understanding the want to live away from a crowd. After all, he was even tagged as a 'homeless' guy thanks to him wanting to live in seclusion.
"I agree. And I think it's a pretty good idea to build safe houses, you never know when you have to get away from someone. Who's 'they'?"
"Oh! They mean the elected leaders of Snowchester... That would be... Oh, hold on a minute."
Ranboo went to the ladder on the opposite wall to the door. He climbed upstairs and started rummaging through his items in one of the chests. The teenager climbed down to see Clay waiting patiently. The so-called hot tempered guy was actually really calm in nature.
"Ok, so I think I've written it here somewhere, this has all the technical information about the countries I've lived in, that would be a bit of uh... L'Manburg," he looked at Clay nervously but he was just nodding, waiting for him to continue. "L'Manburg and Snowchester.. i think that's pretty much it, don't travel too much."
"Alright, fair enough. Although, from what I can tell, L'Manburg is quite far away from this place, so you may say that you don't travel around a lot, but there's obviously some travelling passion in you." Clay raised his eyebrows and stared at Ranboo, as if asking if he was correct. Ranboo's light blush said it all.
"I- um- yea-no- I mean.. I guess so yeah..."
Clay smirked and looked back at the book. The younger guy, still blushing, took that as his cue to keep talking.
"So, Snowchester was formed by Tubbo after the Doomsday War, whatever that was, and right now, the ruler is... also Tubbo!"
"Really? Wow. Didn't think of him to be the ruling type, he seemed to be a yes man most of the time."
"He's not a yes man, not that I know of. He might've been before, but not anymore. Also, yeah, he isn't much interested in ruling, but he's doing a pretty good job! Better than L'Manburg anyway, I mean, sure, we've had our share of wars, but at least our country hasn't been blown up by its own creators, unlike someplace..." He gave Clay a mischievous glance, who started laughing.
"Yeah, Wilbur was pretty chaotic. I was told he blew up L'Manberg? Poor guy was slowly losing his mind after the divorce, I guess."
"Divorce? He had a wife?" Ranboo perked up at the newfound information.
"Of course he did, how else would you get a divorce, huh? Her name was Sally. She's Fundy's mother too." Clay replied. The teenager just tilted his head in confusion as he stared at the ceiling, eyes unfocused.
"Oh... Neither of them ever talked about that. Or they did, and I just don't remember-"
"Well I wouldn't talk about it too, if I had a fish for a wife, then had a son who was a furry.
"Yeah, I mean- wait, what?!"
"Sally the salmon. Wilbur. Together. And they had Fundy. Who's a furry."
