LIGHTS OUT

I blinked. Well then.

"Shut up, ass hole!" I shouted. His ace stilled and then I could have sworn I felt something shock me.

"Don't ever call me that again." His voice scared me.

Aspen, though he never told me what his power was, was a rather scary guy.

My best friend scared off all of my bullies growing up. Being a Goddess of Love isn't very cool to elementary kids. Even worse to middle schoolers. High school though, everyone wants to be with the Goddess of Love.

My cousins and I were all at the center of attention, it really went to a few if their heads too.

Aspen though, made sure it didn't go to mine. The Goddess of Love couldn't even tell the guy she liked she wanted him. Yeah, he didn't even mean to and he ha kept me firmly on the ground.

Obviously not, Miss. Rule Breaker. I scowled as my own conscious bitched me out. Bitch.

Wait did I just call myself a bitch? I think I did! Hey-

"Don't call me that again." He snarled his hands gripping my arms and shaking me back into the present.

I opened my mouth to say something, and then well, this I hard to explain.

Like my body had been set in fire, it felt so hot, almost blistering me. Even worse though, was the cold numb of something entering my body and filling it with a charge.

My chest squeezed in pain and I could just barely see spark flying off his hands where they gripped my arms.

His hands released me, but I never saw myself hit the floor. I heard the dull thud and wondered briefly if I was going to die.

That was so cheating ass hole.

I blinked. My head was pounding, and my arms were killing me. Well everything was killing me, but especially my arms.

Aspen was no where to be found, and I quickly jerked to my feet. Blind boy on the loose! Bad, Kenna, bad! You do not let strangers go in unfamiliar places!

I winced as I thought of my knife collection I'd accidentally lost somewhere in the house. And the hand gun I had triggered to shoot at my bedroom door. What? I had to protect myself somehow!

The lights went out right as the gun went off. Yep, Stupid Kenna! Stupid!
