I didn't know he had a house or where it was. He said that it was kinda far like two miles from Syntec. I knew that we had already ran about a mile by now, so I said "Well if it's about 2 miles away from Syntec, and we have already ran like a mile can we slow down? I'm almost out of breath."
He looked back at me and they both walked towards me. They agreed and we started walking together, talking. It was nice. It made me feel like I had some real friends. Friends that understood me like they did.
Our age and height didn't matter, we just understood each other. Yes I may be 5'4 while they are 5'11 and 6'0, but it was okay we were still besties. The age difference didn't really bother any of us because it wasn't that large, I was 29 while Benjamin was 30 and Wes was 33 but we didn't really care, none of us even acted our age.
And none of us looked alike so it made me feel more unique and I liked it. I was a brunette with brown eyes, simplistic but different. Wes on the other hand was really blonde and had really pretty blue eyes, I liked the look of him.
Benjamin had black hair and blue eyes, it was pretty on him. It's not really like that anymore though. He started taking serum. He doesn't wear the mask though so his eyes swirl with red. Wes doesn't need the mask because he has handled the whole serum thing throughout the years now.
Sometimes it bugs me that they both fell into Deb's trap, but they are very sensitive about talking about it. At least Benjamin is. We continued walking for another 20 minutes or so until we sat down for a little break. It was again pure silence. I don't know why it was so awkward in the first place.
