Walking up to the entrance, I stared open mouthed at the humongous school towering over me. Masses of students streamed in the entrance, chatting excitedly as they caught up with each other after the holidays.

Keeping my head down and trying to blend in, I walked in, pushing past people while trying to find the office.

After what seemed like hours, I spotted the 'OFFICE' sign and breathed a sigh of relief. The crowd was getting to me and I was suffocating.

I went in, relishing the cool air and free space as I walked up to the stern-looking receptionist.

"Hi...I'm new here...um...can I have my timetable and a map?"

The receptionist glared coldly at me and typed in something on to the computer, before literally throwing two pieces of paper at me.

Geez, PMSing much?

I rolled my eyes and walked out, not even bothering to thank her.

I mindlessly walked down the corridors, trying to find the classroom, panicking slightly as the crowd started to thin out.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Where the fuck is the classroom?

"Need help?"

I jumped as a deep, amused voice sounded behind me and a warm hand landed on the small of my back.

I shrugged off the hand and glared at the culprit.

Ugh. Great. Typical blonde jerk.

"Woah woah woah. The cold reception I'm getting here is NOT welcoming," he said chuckling.

"I'm Jake."

"Great, nice to meet you, now go away, I don't need your help." I stalked off, bending my head as I glared at my map, desperately trying not to show that I was lost.

"Sure..." he drawled dryly, before falling into step behind me.

One second, two seconds...don't worry I'll find the classroom...three seconds, four seconds...no no no where is it?...five seconds, six seconds...HELPPP...seven seconds...

"You're lost, aren't you?"

"NO!" I replied indignantly.

"Yea, right..." he said, snatching my timetable out of my hands.

"Hey! We are in the same class!" he said, brightening up, as his face morphed into child-like delight.

"Pfft, great, just great..." I muttered, as Jake took my arm and dragged me down several corridors.

Finally, with me out of breath and panting, and Jake looking like it was nothing, we reached the door of the Math classroom.

Jake immediately opened the door and sauntered in, leaving me in the corridor taking deep breaths and trying to calm the particularly violent butterflies in my stomach.

You can do it. You can do it... I told myself repeatedly, before pushing open the door.

All eyes turned to me.

Oh fuck.

I can't do it.

AHHHHHH GET ME OUT OF HERE

Shit.

Save me...

Oh dear gosh... WHERE IS JAKEY WHEN U NEED HIM?

I'm screwed...

There I stood awkwardly waiting for the teacher to notice me. After 1 minute of waiting, I got bored and Said,"Hi...I'm a new student here..." the teacher scowled at me, finally noticing yours truly.
