Chapter 52 : Elijah's day out.

Third person point of view

Joshua left for work as usual in the morning. After Joshua left, Elijah called Nicholas and told him to meet in the afternoon and told him the location too. Elijah finished his things, dressed up in a t-shirt, jeans and long coat. He also put on a cap and picked up his phone. He walked out from the house after locking it. He walked out of the building. 

He took a taxi and told the location of a restaurant. Once he reached there, he paid and got down. He walked in to the restaurant and sat down at a table. A waiter approached him for taking his order. Elijah picked up the menu looking through it. He ordered a few dishes and the waiter left. Elijah looked around and it was quite busy considering it was lunchtime. 

His food arrived and he started eating it. Once he finished, he paid the bill and left the restaurant. He walked out and put on a mask. He looked all around and turned to his left. He walked in that direction. After walking a little, he crossed the street and walked forward. After walking for quite some distance, he turned to an alley on his right and walked into it. 

There was dead end and there he again took a left and walked till another dead end. He then took a right. The place looked almost remote with barely any people walking around. He was alone as he walked in. As he walked deep into the street, at the end, there was a metal door to a brick house. 

He looked around and knocked thrice with a calculated gap between the knocks. The door was opened from the inside and the person who opened the door bowed to him. Elijah nodded and walked in. He removed his mask and then as he walked inside there was another door and he pressed the code and entered. 

As he walked in everyone in there greeted him with respect. He only nodded at their greetings. He walked through a small passage and to an open area. He glanced around and went to the shooting arena. He opened the door and entered to see there was no one else inside. He picked up a pair of headphones and put them on. 

He then picked up gun and stood in position. He raised his hand holding the gun and started to shoot. Every single bullet that left the gun hit the target without missing a single one. His posture was gorgeous and he looked cool and cold at the same time with a gun in hand. It just felt right for him to be like that. Nicholas entered when Elijah put his gun down.

Nicholas couldn't help but raise his eyebrows. " It has been a while but you are just as good as you always are ". Elijah just shrugged and they walked out of there to sit in an area which was filled with many couches for people to just sit around. They settled down on one of the couches. " What made you come here ? " Nicholas asked looking at Elijah.

Elijah shrugged making Nicholas roll his eyes. " Nothing much. Just wanted to see how it is going ". Nicholas nodded. " Why did you want to meet me? " " Did you find out anything ? " Nicholas nodded. " It is me who took it up. You think I can't do it ? " Elijah shook his head in hopelessness. " Yeah, yeah. Now show me what you've got ". 

Nicholas smirked. " Follow me ". They got up and walked into a room which was Nicholas's office in there. Elijah sat down on the couch which was facing the wall. Nicholas went to his laptop which was on the table. There was a mini projector, projecting the content in the laptop on the wall in front of Elijah. 

Nicholas used that to show all the information he got to Elijah. Elijah's face was illuminated from the light coming through the projector. His eyes were dark and his lips curving into a devilish smirk. He slowly got up and stood up looking at the content being projected on the wall. " They really are no good just like they seem ". He sneered. 

He then turned to Nicholas with a playful smirk. " You are good indeed ". Nicholas scoffed. " Duh ! " He was done with showing everything. " Done. This is all ". Elijah nodded. " What do you plan on doing with this ? " Nicholas asked looking at Elijah. Elijah stared at the wall for a whole second and slowly tilted his head to the side. 

" Nothing ". He then turned to look at Nicholas. Nicholas stared at Elijah's eyes and his expression and just nodded at the end. Elijah nodded towards the laptop. " Bring a little out of this about Alex to Joshua. He needs to continue his investigation. Also make it look like you got it because you hacked his phone ". 

Nicholas nodded. " Sure. When do I get it ? " " Today ? " Nicholas checked the time and nodded. " I will be there after work ". Elijah nodded and they both walked out of the room. " I will get going ". Elijah said and Nicholas nodded. " Want me to drop you ? " Elijah shook his head. " Alright. See you. Text me once you go back ".

Elijah rolled his eyes. " Am I a kid ? " Nicholas gritted his teeth. " Would it kill you to just leave a text ? Is it that difficult to just do so ? " Elijah frowned. Nicholas folded his hands. " So ? " Elijah didn't want to put up with him anymore. He nodded. " Fine. I will text once I reach home ". Nicholas nodded. " Good ".  

Elijah put his mask back on and walked away. This time he took a different route out. He walked to the other side of the place and then out of a door. There were stairs and he walked up. He was up by a floor. There was another door. He opened the metal door and entered the place. It was a kitchen of a cafe. 

He made his way through the kitchen and walked out of there. He opened another door into the cafe and walked out of the cafe. He got a taxi and went back home. He removed his coat and put it away. He also removed his cap and mask. He picked up and put them in his room. He walked out and stretched a little. 

He flopped down on the couch and took out his phone. He sent the text to Nicholas. He opened his gallery to look at Joshua's pictures. He scrolled through them and went back to home screen. He downloaded quite a few from his social media accounts and even using one for his wallpaper. He used his favorite one; the one with long hair. 

Elijah couldn't help but think that he styled it well back then. He didn't know what it was, but he knew there was a difference. He wondered if it was because it was still a little shorter than before. He put it aside and went to his room to change and freshen up. Once he was done, he turned the television on and started watching it. 

Soon Joshua came back home. He sat on the couch and put his head on Elijah's shoulder. Elijah turned to Joshua. " Tired ? " Joshua nodded. Elijah raised his hand to pat Joshua's head. " Nick said he will becoming today ". " Oh. Did he find something ? " Elijah shrugged. " He didn't say anything to me ". Joshua nodded. 

Joshua closed his eyes sitting in a more comfortable position. Elijah ran his hands through Joshua's hair, liking the soft feeling of Joshua's hair on his finger tips. " Your have really nice hair ". Joshua gave a ' hmm ' as a response. He was slipping into a slumber. Elijah smiled and turned back to the television.

Happy new year guys ! 🥳💃🏻 I know I am late, a week late to be precise, but still I need to wish you all. I hope you all had a nice new year celebration, because I did. 😂 I was so hyper this time. My whole family was like ' what is wrong with you ? ' 😂 So yeah.

I don't really have any resolutions but I did think of doing a few things. I want to make sure to eat healthy and be healthy. And I want to study well and get a good rank in the exam that is coming up in a few months. And last but not least, I decided to not write anything this year. 😂 

I actually want to put more effort into my studies. So I decided to not write much. I dedicated a lot of time for writing for the past year, so I don't want to do that this year. I already finished three books and two out of them are already edited too. So I will just finish this book (The CEO is my roommate) and if I feel like it, I will upload any of the new books I wrote in a few days gap after I finish this. That is it for this year.
