Chapter 5- A matter of time..

Alya dropped on the grass between the mansion and the wall and immediately started to search for a spot to climb up. She thought “I must find a way over the wall. It is the harder but safer route out here or I will cause confused looks and chaos at the party and maybe Misfit will come after me.” After some more searching she found a way to lift herself up and over the wall which caused the dress to even rip more apart. Alya hissed in pain as she also caught her leg on a sharp piece of the brickwork.

Finally on the public road she pulled her phone out and started to call the Kwamis. Nobody answered because they did not recognise her number. Alya sighed heavily and kept heading to Marinettes. 

Alya knew it was just a matter of time before Marinette, who was now Misfit, would cause chaos once she reached the party. She run as fast as she could, trying to cross a busy intersection at a red light and an old man stopped her from doing it and pointed to the other side where kids and a police officer were standing. Alya nodded to him and said “Thanks”. The older man was pointing to her leg which was bleeding and told “You should see a doctor as soon as you can otherwise you will get an ugly scar or infect the wound.” Alya was nervous while standing and nodded again to him but this time with a small smile. When the crossing light showed green she dashed directly to the other side and through the park which was the shortest way to the bakery.

The bakery front door was held open and Sabine and Tom were looking at Alya totally confused. Sabine asked her with wide eyes “What are you doing here? Why is your dress ripped apart? Where are your shoes and why are you bleeding? Tom first aid kit, we need to disinfect and bandage that wound”. Alya tried to push through but Tom stopped her instantly and Alya resigned with a sigh “Fine but quickly I need to check something in Marinette's room”. Sabine took the disinfectant and started to clean the wound. “Ok done but I demand an explanation when you are down understood?” Alya called back from the stairs “Yes Sabine” and tried to run as quickly as possible upstairs. 

The hatch to Marinette's room flew open and all the Kwamis hastily hid themselves in the Miraculous box. Alya was saying “It’s fine! Come out guys, I urgently need your help!”. The first Kwami who appeared was Trixx followed by Tikki and it was good that Trixx came out first because she needed to hold Tikki back.

Tikki looked dead serious at Alya and asked “What happened? Why did you not call? Why is your dress torn and where are your shoes?” Alya slumped down and started to cry “Marinette was hit by the Akuma and also got Nino.” She started to cry even more “I lost my best friend to an Akuma and my boyfriend to her powers. Her power is devastating. Nino was hit and simply sunk down to his knees and cried. I..it's like he didn't even know I existed” Tikki and Trixx looked at her and said at the same time “Calm down, you are the only one who can help her now and you know that!” Alya looked at them and tried to stop her tears. Tikki asked her quietly “Nino was hit but not physically hurt? If that is the case we can only hope that we can fix everything afterwards but now we need you as Scarabella.” Alya noticed the wording from Tikki and asked “Hope? What do you mean by hope?”. Tikki shook her head and said “This is not the right time you know? We need to be fast.”

“Tikki before I transform, can we check all the options we have? I am not a team leader like her you know and I also do not know the identities of the other holders except Nino which is …" Alya said but stopped mid sentence and started to cry. 

All the Kwamis gathered around Alya, while she tried to stop the tears once more, and started to brainstorm the situation they were all in and Sass asked the key question “I know my owner and I also know where to find him. What about you? We know that Tikki will go with Alya which means Trixx is out but what about the rest of us?” 

All Kwamis stopped the discussion and started to think and Pollen quietly said “I know how to reach my owner. I would be in but what about Cat Noir? We need him otherwise it will be even harder right?” Tikki looked at Alya “Cat Noir is no problem, I know where I can find him. Give me one moment” Alya looked confused and wanted to ask but remained silent and simply thought “she knows his identity but Marinette and I don’t?” while Tikki dashed away to inform Plagg about the meeting spot with Scarabella. Alya, transformed into Rena rouge, used an illusion to follow tikki to find Cat noir and show him he was needed.
