Chapter 24- Confession

Cat Noir jumped from roof to roof and approached the Eiffel Tower. He was early and was sitting on the highest platform watching the stars in the night sky while the traffic on the streets of Paris was getting less and less. While Adrien as Cat Noir waited for 'his lady' Marinette was getting ready to join him and be honest with her boyfriend.

"Marinette, you are still injured, are you sure you want to go? My powers may boost your strength and agility but I am not able to heal you." Tikki said with a worried look into Marinette's blue eyes who responded while smiling and petting softly Tikki's cheek "I will be fine, Tikki. It is time for me to talk with him and be honest with him. He deserves the truth and like Seraphine said 'start with a person you can and want to trust fully' and I trust him. After that I will talk with him together with Alya and Nino and be honest with them too"

Tikki looked confused and said "You also want to tell Nino that you are Ladybug?" Marinette smiled and said "I need to be honest with them about everything or else Adrien and I will not be able to win this." "I trust you and fully support you." Tikki said while nodding and adding "Spots on?" "Two weeks without being Ladybug?" Marinette said smiling and continued "Tikki spots on".

Marinette transformed into Ladybug and thought "I hope he will like the fact that I am Ladybug." She started to zip through Paris towards the direction of the Eiffel Tower and noticed that some Parisians were waving and cheering towards her. "Yeah it was way too long." Marinette thought and waved back to them. Once she got close she could see Cat Noir.

She jumped behind him and said "Hey Kitty did you miss me?" Cat Noir turned his head around smiling and said "Finally I see you again Bugaboo." Marinette was not used to this nickname and responded with a bit of banter "You know that I hate to be called 'Bugaboo'." Adrien laughed about this and got up to hug her. Marinette, no Ladybug, was caught off guard and hugged him back. While both hugged each other Cat Noir whispered "You know, my Lady, I have missed you. I made the biggest mistake two weeks ago."

"Mistake?" Marinette responded while moving her hand across his back. Adrien stepped back and said "We also need to be professional from now on ok?" "Professional? Because of your little girlfriend?" Marinette said with a teasing voice. Adrien looked confused at Ladybug and asked in complete confusion "How do you know? I didn't even see you the last two weeks." "I watch all the holders closely, even the retired ones." Marinette said while softly hitting his bell and moving closer.

Cat Noir pushed Ladybug back and said "Professional ok? I am honest and faithful to Marinette." Ladybug sat down watching over the streets, petting the place to her right and said "Too bad I was falling for you after all those messages but please tell me which mistake you made." Cat Noir sat down and said "I pressured Scarabella so much that she made mistakes. I hurt her with that and due to it other people and heroes got hurt too." Marinette moved a bit closer and said "You want to apologize to her?"

"What? How? If you tell me who she is, this puts you and her in danger." Cat Noir insisted and tried to move away but Ladybug grabbed his hand and said "that may be true but if it 'bugs' you I would do it. And does Marinette, your girlfriend, know your identity?" "Hold your cats now, LB. Since when did you know Marinette is my girlfriend?!" Cat said angrily and was getting furious about it. "Calm down Kitty Cat. We do not want Hawkmoth to return." Marinette said with a smirk and moved closer to him once more.
