Right when the task force rushed the hideout, Multimouse transformed back into Marinette and directly into Ladybug. Nino did not notice that but Cat Noir and Rena Furtive nodded. The rush went through in the blink of a second. Not a single shot was fired. Not a single person was hurt besides Nino.

Rena removed the blindfold to see Nino's brown eyes. His brown eyes are surrounded by blue and green colors. Nino started immediately to cry once he saw who saved him. Rena removed the gag and he directly whispered "Thank you! I didn't want to die here." Rena blocked his mouth with a light "shhh all is fine now." Rena and Cat Noir also removed the cable ties from his ankles and wrists. While Ladybug was breathing heavily and was extremely pale, standing behind them.

The medics rushed in after everything was clear and started to check Nino. He had besides the cut over his left eye which was still bleeding, both eyes swollen with a big color scale and bruises on his wrist and ankles. Also he was dehydrated and needed to drink a lot. Ladybug was watching how happy and relieved Rena was with her Nino and started to move slowly out.

Cat Noir did not pay attention and was happily chatting with Nino who didn't know his best friend was Cat Noir. After a short while Rena and Cat Noir helped slowly and carefully Nino up and immediately noticed a person was missing, Ladybug. Cat Noir asked one of the police officers "Do you know where Ladybug was going and when?" "She left a little while ago. It appeared she was in pain as she was not able to walk straight and was pale like she saw a ghost." The officer said.

"I bet she is waiting outside." Rena said smiling and Nino added "I did not see her and she did not speak with me. Was she really here too?" Cat Noir said quietly "She is the reason why we found you. She is totally exhausted and maybe in pain." Nino looked confused at Cat Noir and asked "What do you mean by pain? Is she hurt? Do your suits not protect you?" Rena replied "The suits protect us but only if we wear them. She had an accident as her civilian self and has problems with walking and running. So most likely she is hurt right now."

The three of them moved to the way the police and medics pointed them. When they came out they got blinded by the sun. As soon as Nino had sat down Cat Noir asked an officer if he sawn Ladybug. He nodded, pointed to the roof and said "She jumped there and I saw a pink flash afterwards." Cat Noir looked at Rena who said "Go please. I need to take care of Nino first."

"Wait, you will know her identity when you go now." Nino pointed out and looked with confused and painful expression. Cat Noir nodded and said "She is hurt and de-transformed. There is no other help around. I need to find her." In this moment when he wanted to use his baton to jump upwards another bright pink flash appeared and Ladybug jumped down to them.

"Sorry for leaving without telling you but I needed to regain some strength" Ladybug said and bowed down a bit. Rena hit her head and said sharply "You know you should not do something like this or the next time I will pull you out of your hiding space." The boys needed to laugh a bit, which caused Nino to directly feel the pain again.
