Marinette hummed while she served the last customers. "Honey, you should switch your dress. Adrien is already upstairs for 15 minutes and should be done pretty soon but you are still in your uniform." Sabine said while cleaning the counter. Tom added while cleaning the oven „don't be late for Mr. Agreste. We will take care of the rest today, so please go upstairs."

„Are you sure?" Marinette said while smiling at a little boy and passing him a cookie. "Yes, we are sure so please hurry." Sabine responded while getting the tray from Marinette's hands who smiled and passed her mother a kiss on her cheek. Marinette quickly hugged her father and thanked both of them.

Marinette rushed upstairs. Ok, rushing was not the right word. She moved upstairs as fast as she could but thought „Well my body is healed but I lost a lot of my endurance. Looks like I need to work on that too." At the moment Marinette opened the flat door Adrien got out of the bathroom.

„Hey, Mari. Good to see my girlfriend." Adrien looked at Marinette with a smirk. Marinette immediately got a pink color on her face as she saw that Adrien only had a towel around his hips. "Mari? Hello?" Adrien said while waving his hand in front of her eyes. Marinette started to blink and stuttered "Oh... hey... Adrien... What are... what are you... are you doing here?"

Adrien needed to laugh and said jokingly "I can take off the towel if you want." Marinette went from light pink to full red and only shook her head. Adrien laughed and kissed her forehead while adding "Marinette you saw me countless times topless but now you are blushing? I was joking as I know that we are taking it slow." The kiss pulled Marinette out of her lost state and she finally was able to answer "You look good and I still cannot believe that you are my boyfriend."

Adrien smiled and kissed her cheek once more saying "and I am happy that you are my girlfriend and my partner. I love you, Marinette Dupain-Cheng!" Marinette closed her eyes and said softly "I love you too, Adrien Agreste. I will now take a shower and you get dressed. It will be a shame to be late for dinner with your dad and Nathalie."

"You are right, Mari but please be careful in the shower ok?" Adrien said while moving slowly upstairs and Marinette entering the bathroom. Marinette said while closing the door "I will be extremely careful. I promise you." Tikki flew out and whispered "Mari, your heart stopped there and afterwards it raced like you would be running like crazy." Marinette smiled and replied nodding "Tikki I would have never thought that my wish would come true and that I am the girlfriend of Adrien. I dreamed of it but not that it will happen for sure."

Adrien dressed and Plagg was annoyed "Can you two stop being so lovesick? If this continues I need to puke." Adrien shot him a glare and only said "If we stop dating, not that I want to anyway because I love her, you will never see 'Sugarcube' again and you know that right?" Plagg swallowed on that fact and faked a smile and responded "Next time just warn me and you should see a cardiologist." Adrien was confused and just looked at Plagg who added "Your heart stopped when you hugged Marinette and when you kissed her it was like a cold start of an engine." Adrien laughed loudly and replied with a joy filled voice "Plagg, I knew that Kwamis are not able to love but this is just... just strange you know? This is how love is when your body and soul are upside down when you are with the person you love. And I love Marinette with my whole body."
