It's been a week and Alexis hasn't contacted me since the day at the hospital. It's been crazy and I've worried bout her honestly.
"ALECIA!"
"Hey mama, bout time I seen you."
She came in without even knocking, parents.
"Girl I've been over there with Alexis."
"What's up with her how's she doing."
"Alexis is great, they dropped Michaels position down to a RN and after the complaints and charges were filled they let him go which leaves yore beautiful head strong fiancée now fully over the whole hospital, she is the hospital. I'm so proud of her Alecia."
"Mama you think you could stay here while I surprise her."
"Sure, She's at the board meeting right now there admitting her in right now."
"Thank you."
I ran upstairs getting dressed in a simple Gucci suit spraying on her favorite fragrance. My hair was curly so I put in a low ponytail grabbing my keys I slid downstairs grabbing my wallet.
"Girl quit running through this house."
"Im sorry I gotta get my woman." I drove to the flower shop gathering 2 dozen roses. Most definitely I'm taking her out tonight to maybe we could talk things over and get things straightened out.
I sat outside parked beside her car at the medical administration building for our jurisdiction thinking of what I could've said or was going to say. I sat in the car talking to myself for so long I didn't notice her knock on my window, god she looked beautiful.
"Alecia what are you doing here?"
"To surprise you. I just want to let you know that I am extremely proud of you and I know you're gonna be the best there ever was.
"Thank you, wanna grab some brunch."
"Of course."
"You look and smell good by the way."
"Thank you, you look amazing. Give me a lil 365."She turned around and all I could do was smile she was gorgeous.
"Follow me back to the house so I can change."
"Sure thing." She pulled out and I was behind her. I legit had butterflies in my stomach she always did that to me and most times I just couldn't explain it.
We got to her house and it was totally remodeled. It was a simple two story on the outside but and exquisite inside, looked like it could've been a 2 story mansion, it looked like she added a couple of rooms as well.
"I'll be down in a minute ok, by the way your house looks amazing."
"Thank you." She went upstairs as I looked around. There was three rooms at the back, one required a key. I looked under the mat and found it. Hopefully she wouldn't kill me but I went in anyways.
It was a grand piano placed in the middle, candles lit and letter placed in the center.
"I knew you were nosy."
"Alexis."
"Read it." She sat down as I read it.
"Before I start reading, I want to apologize for what I've said last week. I love you so much and I never meant to offend you, to take his word. I love you Alecia and I just wanna make things up to you."
"Apology accepted, read the letter."
Alecia,
My heart is rested on you. I love you and there is a lot of stuff I haven't told you and it was my fault. Alecia forgive me, I love you with my whole heart. I get it I'm not perfect I fall short, just please don't ever give up on me. Don't ever question my love for you. Don't ever question my decision because I'll always put you and Kylie first in any situation. You hurt me with this last situation, I never would've expected you to do that, I thought you would've came to me about it. I admit it has gotten blown clean out of proportion when it could've all been so simple. I'm asking you can we put it behind and move forward I'm tired of the arguing, I'm tired of the heresay, make love to me forever and grow old with me together. I'm sorry, please forgive me."
"I'm sorry Alecia,really."
"I'm sorry as well. Come here give me some love."
She hugged me so tight as I inhaled her fragrance I felt as if I was home again.
"You ready?"
"Sure."
"Hey Alexis what's this other room?"
"You're soon gonna find out."
"Well you just go head on."She smiled grabbing my hand as we headed out the house.
"My baby, My lead doctor over the whole hospital. I'm so very much proud of you babygirl, I knew in due time you'd get all that god had planned for you now look. It's all falling in place."
"Thank you baby, without you pushing me I don't know if I would've gotten here, so with that I thank you."
"You'll always be welcome beautiful."

"And I'll forever love you Alexis."
