I was waking up when I heard Kylie and Alexis talking.
"Me and my mom were talking last night, she was telling me that her first love is you. Is that true?" Kylie asked her, I opened my right eye to see.
"Yea it's true."
"Is She your first love?"
"No. I thought she was but she's not."
"What's wrong with my mommy?"
"Nothing, it's just she did something and I haven't forgotten or forgave her for."
"What she do?"
"Well—." I decided to tell it.
"I cheated on her and she came home and found me in bed with the person."
"Mommy why would do that. You hurt her feelings, I don't blame her for being mad."
" I know. I never got explain why I did what I did."
"Alexis will you stay and listen?"
"Yea." She sat down on the bed with Kylie
"I felt lonely Alexis, you wasn't there. At nights when I just wanted someone to hold me you was here at work. When I wanted to have your marks all over me and you in me, you was here at work. I just needed you near me, time you came home you was gone again. We never had time to go anywhere or do anything. I missed the night we'd go out and come back all in each other til the next day. Where we could lay and watch movies and talk about anything. I just missed you being home, I missed you with me. I missed your love, affection, your kisses, your touch. I missed you, all of you. It was becoming as if we were just roommates again, when we were so much more. So one night, we'll that night. I went out and the guy he was sweet talker, so I took him back to our place and We didn't really get to do anything cause you walked in. I'm sorry Alexis, I'm sorry. I love you, I don't care if you don't care. You can't hold on to the hate Alexis, I know it's in your heart, to love, to still love me. I know you do, you got to. So drop the act, and admit it. You've ran from it so long, now it's here, dead in front of you. Admit it Alexis." She got up storming out the room.
"Go get your girl mom."
"I can only try." I went out looking for her. I noticed her turn the corner so I followed. She headed out to the parking lot.
"Alexis!" I jogged up to her
"Alexis!" I grabbed her by her arm, turning her around so she could look at me. Tears threatened to leave her eyes, I knew she couldn't hold it all in.
"Come here." I pulled her in and let her cry on my shoulder. I never knew how much I really hurt her, but I felt it now.
"I hate you." She pushed at me but I still kept my grip on her.
"I love you."
"Get off me damnit."
"No, I love you."
