"I see you moving up for yourself, looking good. I see the scars I left on you healed." My blood started boiling, Kylie came to me shaking and Alexis stood there as if she was terrified but she still continued to hold her ground.
"Alexis, how come you never brought my child to come see me? Did you not want her to know her father? We're you hiding the fact that she isn't mines? Are you hiding the fact that you're the reason I went to jail."

"No, do you know I had to prick and pry this child to tell me where you stay. She does look like me a little, more of you unfortunately."

I hid my daughter from you because of this..." she took off her shirt, grabbing a paper towel and water wiping an area on her shoulder blade off, there was a mark I have never noticed. She was branded, she continued to wipe off her skin and the scars that I've seen before was revealed.
"Mommy." Kylie said looking at her.

"You don't even know who had her! You just gave her away to anyway to anyone."

I spoke up as his eyes darted my way.
"Now we're getting somewhere ok. So what this is all the mothers getting together or something, wanna be a happy family or something."

"If I could Alexis. Adrien listen she didn't know I had her daughter. It was years after she was my nurse at the hospital. Alexis had no idea that I had Kylie, I had no idea."

"Well I'll take her." Kylie hid behind me while Alexis went at his ass.
"You're not taking my child from me, not again." You could hear the rage and anger in her voice.
He pulled something from his pocket.
"ALEXIS! ALEXIS!" I screamed as he held the gun at her stomach.
"I love you." The loud sound of the gun going off shook me.
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" He ran out the door as I ran to Alexis.
"Kylie call 911, now!" She was struggling to breather, I grabbed her hand holding her head in my lap.
"Baby, Baby please."

"Baby I love you more." I held pressure on her stomach trying to stop the blood.
"Alexis you stay with me, don't you dare slip away."
"Lecia—."
"No no, you fight. Come Alexis you didn't come this far to quit."

"Where's the ambulance?"

"Stand outside til they get here, go!" She ran out there waiting as I stayed with Alexis.
"Come on baby, don't fail me now." Blood came from her nose as she weakly held on to my hand.

"Alexis.." tears poured down my face heavy.
Kylie came running in with the paramedics.
"Don't give up mommy, I love you." I grabbed Kylie as They hooked her up and carried her on.
"Come on." We got in my car and followed behind.
