Ace was still asleep when I woke up, he was still holding my hand, looking as peaceful as he could be. I worried if I did like Ace or if it was just the moment. The last thing I wanted was to lead him on. It was true that I still had unresolved feelings for Murdoc. I was glad that we were friends again, but there was still a gap we didn't touch, and that was the feelings we had for each other.

I put my head down on the desk in my room, the new album was starting to get to me. The deadline, the videos, and Murdocs jail sentence were all stressing me out. Usually, it was so easy, but it was different this time. With Murdoc gone, 2d started acting cocky, said he was the new leader. Luckily, Russell put him in his place, and now he's only a little bit insufferable. All of a sudden I heard the door creak, "Speak of the devil." I thought to myself. 2d had come in with a little journal in his hand. He awkwardly put it on my desk and smiled. "I wrote some songs for the album, along with some video ideas." I looked through the booklet, it had lyrics, sheet music, and storyboards for the music videos. "Holy shit D' this is amazing! Thank you!" I looked at him with a big smile on his face. Flattered, he blushed and smiled, "Thanks! I didn't even need Murdoc's help. That'll show him I can do things myself!" I softly giggled, "I'll get this to the studio and we'll start recording.

I was happy that we were finally able to make a new album. Whenever we released an album Murdoc always took me to this fancy pub with some of the finest beer I've ever had, he always said, "The secret to a good life is good rum." It was stupid but he wasn't wrong it was some damn fine rum!

The deck was damp from the recent rainfall, it was cold, but the sun shined right where I was, so I stayed warm. I lit a cigarette and smelled the rain, it reminded me of when I used to jump in the large puddles and get my shoes wet. "Hey, doll." I turned around, "Murd-" I swore it sounded exactly like him, but it was Ace. "I'm sorry, I must be tired." I put out my cigarette with my heel and smiled. "I brought you these, I hope blue is still your favorite." he held out blue flowers and handed them to me. I looked at them, flustered. "Thank you." I leaned up to him and kissed his cheek. He looked into my eyes and leaned into my lips, all of a sudden a worry caught me. "I'm sorry." I pulled away, "I don't want to break your heart." He pulled me close to him and stared at me enticingly. "Maybe I'll break yours." we smiled at each other mischievously.

Ace and I looked around the studio for Damon, but he wasn't there. It was surprising, he was always recording something new. "Can I help you?" A woman I hadn't recognized asked, "Have you seen Damon around, we're supposed to record." She tapped her lip with her pencil, trying to remember. "I believe he's out with friends." I sighed and looked at her, "Are you new here?" She looked up and blushed, "I am! I just started a week ago. I'm Sonya by the way." She was very pretty, she had long hair and was very gentle. "I'm Y/n and this is-"

"Ace, I've seen you on tv!" Her blush became brighter and she began to become touchy. "Why don't we all take you to dinner, my treat," I asked her, she seemed nice. "I'd love that, thank you!"

The whole band went to a restaurant to celebrate Sonya's new position with us. We all chatted and got along, she was a breath of fresh air, she was kind and carefree. I looked over at Ace, Sonya and him especially got along. I couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous, but they wouldn't get that close, right?
