Throughout the Years Ace x Reader (Re-write)

The End.

Since that night, we've been inseparable. After the release of 'The Now Now,' we had gone on countless tours together, and we would sneak off and go on dates. I had enjoyed waking up next to Ace every morning, he would sometimes make breakfast for the whole band. There wasn't a day I stopped loving him. But I knew that he would soon have to leave and go back home.

"Doll you cant come with me." He told me as he packed his things. "If you can't stay, I should at least come." I tried to convince him, "You have everything you need here, stay." I walked him to the front door, "Everything, but you." I looked into his eyes, I wanted to be with him more than anything. Whether that meant I had to leave or not. 

"I can't believe you're leaving already!" 2d pouted, I believed he would rather have Ace around than Murdoc. "You can't stay a little longer?" Noodle questioned him, looking at me. "Sorry guys, but I have a gang to go back to." Ace hugged everybody goodbye. I saw Murdoc whisper something to Ace which had them both laughing, I didn't question them, they had their own type of friendship. 

I stood there silently, it pained me that I couldn't see Ace for however long it was going to be. I was upset that he was leaving. "It'll be alright, doll, I'll come and visit you soon." He held my head and hugged me tightly. "Please don't go..." I whispered, "I can't stand being without you." I spoke the words he had said to me when I was going to leave. I thought about all that'd we'd been through. Since we were kids, we had been close, but then we lost each other and found each other again, Just to now say goodbye for the second time. I didn't want to lose Ace, I was afraid that he was going to forget about me and move on to somebody else. I almost got lost in that thought before he initiated a soft fulfilling kiss, I felt like I was falling in love with him all over again. He looked up and smiled, softly enough to make my heart melt, "Just so you don't forget me," He placed his glasses onto my head and kissed my forehead. That small gift meant everything to me, it showed me how much he cared. I've seen those glasses on him since we were kids and now he decided to give them to me. 

I smiled and kissed him one last time before he started up his motorcycle. "Do you remember that time I got dared to kiss you," I asked Ace, smirking brightly, "That's the first time I ever fell for somebody." Ace replied, smiling and blushing. "I love you, Y/n," he grabbed my hand and kissed it, "I love you too." He pulled me in close and hugged me one last time. 

"Goodbye dollface," he said before he finally drove off. I was sad that he was gone, but I knew that he loved me, and that was enough.
