I ran downstairs and saw everybody, but Ace. "Noodle where's Ace?" I could feel my heart just waiting to pump out of my chest, "He said he was going to stay at the bar a little while longer" Russell explained to me. I left for the door, running until I saw Ace's motorcycle. I suddenly had an idea. I started it up, then rode to the pub. I burst through the doors, but nobody was there except for the workers. I asked the bartender if he'd seen him by any chance, "The guy with the slicked-back hair and glasses? Yeah, I saw him. Wouldn't stop talking about a girl. Kept saying how she was the most beautiful thing, must've been one hell of a gal!" I blushed hard, "Did he say where he was going?" he looked up in thought, "No, but he did mention something about a garden." I smiled, "Thank you!" I ran out the door. I started back up the motorcycle and started driving.
The streets were clear, I could drive as fast as I could. I thought about what I was going to say to him when I saw him. I didn't just want to fall into his arms without a proper explanation. There was still the chance I wouldn't forgive him, even if I wanted to. I tried to drive faster when all of a sudden, it started moving slower and slower before it stopped altogether. "No gas, are you kidding!" I put my hands on my head, there was no way an uber would come this late. I just sat on the motorcycle, "Maybe Ace and I weren't meant to be." But right when I said it, a car came pulling up next to me. "Need a ride?" I smiled at Murdoc and got into the passenger's seat.
I gave him the directions to the maze and he started driving, "Love, about what you said, that you loved me. I think you already know that I have feelings for you, but after everything, you love Ace, and I know for a fact that he's madly in love with you too." His hand was tight on the cross on his necklace. "You've changed since I first met you, you're so much sweeter." I smiled softly at him. "Were here." he parked in front of the entrance, it was so much different at night. "Thank you, Murdoc." I gently kissed his forehead before I left.
"Please be here." I went into the maze and led myself to the doorway where Ace told me he loved me. I stood there, my nerves keeping me still. I took a deep breath and finally took a step forward before I tripped on a vine on the floor. I was ready to hit the ground, when Ace had caught me. "Are you alright?" I took a step back from him, "Please, tell me what happened." I looked into his eyes. "She came into my room, she was trying to say her feelings for me when she started to crawl onto me and kiss me. I was shocked when it happened, and that's when you saw us." I took a long breath, I believed him, he sounded so sincere. "I'm sorry I didn't listen and I'm sorry for what I said." I put my head on his chest. "I love you, Ace, I only love you." He tilted my head up and embraced me with a warm kiss, I put my arms around him and held him tighter. "I love you too, Y/n." a shiver went down my spine, I had never heard him use my name before.
We both laid on the ground and stared up at the stars. "Why'd you choose me over Murdoc? I know you care about him." I looked at him and put a hand on his face. "I realized that you were the one for me. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't get you off my mind." I smiled at him sweetly. "Why don't we get something to eat?" he moved on top of me. "Nothings open right now." I put my arms around him, "There's always a 7/11 somewhere."
It was about 3 am and we had started heading to where we knew a 7/11 was. We weren't tired, we kept each other up with our conversations. I put my hand in Ace's jacket pocket and held his hand. Not just because I wanted to be sweet, but because I was cold and didn't bring a jacket. "Are you cold, dollface?" He took off his jacket and put it over me. "Is that better?" he smiled and grabbed my hand.
We had kept walking until we were there. We weren't hungry anymore, but we had decided to get slushes anyways. "Shit." I heard Ace murmur, "What's wrong?" he smiled at me and grabbed my drink, "Could you wait outside while I pay for our drinks?" He kept on his smile while I walked out and waited outside. I lit a smoke while I waited, he was taking a while. "What's taking him so long?" Right, when I said it, Ace came running out, I immediately threw out my cigarette, and looked at Ace. "What happened?" He handed me my drink, then grabbed my hand and started running. "Let's just say I'm not big on sweet-talking anymore!" I looked back at the worker chasing us and laughed, "Did you steal this stuff?" I continued to laugh at Ace. He blushed and continued to run.
We ran until the guy finally gave up. "I could've paid, you know." I smiled at him mischievously. He smiled back and pinned me into the wall. "You are gorgeous," He began to kiss my neck over and over again until he stopped and looked at me, "I'm sorry." I looked up at him, he felt guilty. "For what?" I asked him, "I've made you feel so awful, I want to make it up to you." I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him close to me. "I know one way you can," I whispered in his ear, then kissed him passionately. He kissed me again and again until we were both out of breath, "Let me take you home, dollface,"
