Yue was inside her room which was in her house located in the vicinity of Aldwin City. She had a sad look on her face for she has not really overcome the series of events that had happened to her and her comrades lately. She opened her window and saw that it was night time.
“Should I have stayed in the office?” she asked out loud. The azure haired girl hoped for an answer but it was futile for she was the only one in her room.
Her bedroom was that of a typical girl of her age, except now there were documents and work related file folders found on her desk and on her bed.
“I should have taken Fran’s advice on not taking my work home with me.” She thought to herself as she laughed a little.
The wedding is two weeks from now
The azure-haired girl remembered Dilan’s statements as she looked towards her calendar. It had been two days since they detained Seiryu in Treyah’s maximum security prison.
“12 days.” She said out loud. “I’ve got 12 days to go before being wed to that man.” She said once more.
Yue looked to her left wrist as she still wore Seiryu’s chain. She held on it and as she did, a faint smile began to form on her lips.
“I want you to have it.” Seiryu’s voice rang in her head.
“Yeah that was two years ago.” Yue thought to herself. “Two years have passed and still the world has not changed. There is still a threat to it, but now it is a more serious one.” She continued to think.
“Marry me instead.” She again heard the Rogue’s voice in her head and this time she blushed mildly from his statement.
“I would in a heartbeat.” The azure haired girl said as she looked towards the moon. “I really would.” She added. “It just sucks that fate isn’t on my side.” She thought to herself.
A knock on her door was heard.
“Lady Yue, your dinner is ready.” The servant’s raspy voice was heard through her door.
“Yes, yes.” She said in response. “I will be on my way.” She added. “Better not keep father waiting.” Yue thought to herself.
…
…
…
Yue found herself seated on her dining table, across her father. Her father had a look of a man who has aged well. His jet black hair stood out and his eye color which was turquoise, radiated as it focused its sights on Yue. Her father wore a suit, complete with the coat and tie.
“Good evening.” She said to him as she began to eat.
“Yes, yes.” Her father replied. “Likewise.” He added.
“How was work?” his daughter asked him.
