It had been night time in the city of Dyne. Melfice was meditating which was a different sight for he usually trained with his flame forms. He sat on a nearby hill as he closed his eyes. Small flame bursts were raging around him as he breathed.

He opened his eyes and saw the crescent moon. It always reminded him of her. The platinum-blonde haired girl whom he cared for the most.

"Somehow. I feel that you're here." He said out loud.

The light energy particles that surrounded the city were calm and non-threatening. He felt them along with the cold night wind.

Melfice stood up as he smiled.

"You were always guiding me." He said once more.

"Yes. I was." A voice said to him. This brought surprise to him as he looked around him.

He smiled.

"I must be hearing things." He thought to himself as he sighed.

"No. You're not." The voice said again. It was beginning to sound more and more like hers.

This puzzled him because normally she would only manifest herself in his dreams. For her to let her presence be felt in the real world was no longer possible for she was already dead.

He then watched the light energies around him gather to one side. They began to take the shape of a human form. As moments passed even more, the humanoid shape began to be clearer and it manifested her again.

Melfice found it hard to believe, but she was standing right in front of him once more. Not in a dream or in a hallucination, but in the real world.

"It's been a while." Elle said to him. She smiled afterwards.

"E-Elle..." he said as he felt tears roll down his eyes.

She went near him and enveloped him in her embrace. It was eccentric at first for Melfice only felt light energy touch him, but then began to feel her arms around his body. Her warmth and the deepness of her embrace.

"H-how?" he said to her.

"I became one with the light." She said as she held on to him. "And through the light I always watched you." Elle continued to explain as she let go of him. She wore her white dress as always.

Melfice was still struck with awe with what he saw. It was like Elle was still alive.

"All this time?" he asked her but he had a sad look on his face. "I mean even though I..." he tried to say.

"I never blamed you." Elle said to him. "It was my choice, remember?" she reminded him.

"A choice that I continue to regret till this day." Melfice said to her in response.

She smiled when she saw him in such a sad mood.

"It doesn't suit you." Elle said to him. "I'd rather have the real cheerful Melfice than who you are now." She said to him with a giggle.

He smiled when he heard her laugh a little. That was the Elle that he knew.

Melfice pulled her in a tight embrace. Elle had a red hue present on her cheeks as he felt his warmth. Her eyes began to close calmly and in return she embraced him as well. Light spirit energy had been prevalent around the two of them.

"Melfice." She said to him.

"Yeah?" he whispered to her ears. Her ivory shaded skin made her more elegant than she was now.
