The night had been young, but so was she. She stood on the balcony of her residence whilst wearing a glistening light armor. Her hairstyle was a pixie cut and it's color was a platinum blonde in color. She had her back turned away while she held on the ledges of the balcony.

"Where are you?" she thought to herself. Her eyes can now be seen now and they were teal in color. The skin on her face was pale and almost white but she did not look sick or weak.

"It's been so long." She continued to think. For a woman, she had a calm demeanor and her calmness contributed to her elegant manner.

The woman looked as if she was in her late teens. Those teal eyes of hers were fixated in the moonlight that had encompassed the area that her domicile stood in.

Footsteps were heard from behind her and she knew who it was. The teen closed her eyes briefly and breathed out.

"Isaac." She said. Her voice carried with it the sound of gentleness.

The boy behind her was dressed like a bandit. He had a brown leather jacket with a piece of protective armor on both shoulders. He wore black fur pants that were made from behemoth hide. His boots were ebony as well and on his waist was strapped small knives. A bladed boomerang was strapped on his back. It was encased in a leather sheath that had the weapon's shape.

His face carried a calm expression and his eyes which were brown in color always fixated themselves on the maiden right in front of him. The wind blew across his black hair which was braided.

"Milady." He said in response. The bandit walked towards her as he now stood beside the beautiful maiden.

"How was the night patrol?" she asked him.

"There are no disturbances." Isaac replied to her. "The force imager is intact. No one knows of this place's presence." He added.

The maiden smiled at him. It was as if she had been with him all throughout his life.

"Good." She said to him. "The elders wouldn't want if the imager would be penetrated." She added.

"That would be a hard task." He replied to her.

"Yes." She responded. "Darkness of pure quality would be the only way for the imager to be penetrated." She supplemented.

Isaac stood close to her and the maiden kept a calm look on her face. The latter's expression changed from a smile to a more serious one.

"My warrior." She said to him.

"Yes milady?" he replied to her. He looked at her with an intense stare while she continued to stare at the moonlight.

"You know that we are the last of our kind." The maiden said to him. "Right?" she said to him.

"Yes." Isaac said to her.

"Azrael's bloodline is running thin." She said in response. "The times are changing fast and yet I still haven't found her." She added.

"Your sister?" he asked her and she nodded slightly.

"It's been four years since I started looking for her, but still I can't find her." She said to him. "I fear that the worst has happened." She added.

Isaac had a serious look on his face. No matter how many times the maiden had looked so sad and so serious, he would never get used to it. He had missed the times that she was carefree and happy.

"Milady..." he said with a worried tone.

She continued to look at the moon as she closed her eyes. The maiden tried to hold back her tears because she swore to herself that she would be strong. Strong for her sister.
