The city had an elegant touch to it. It was a civilization that had existed even before the time of the Intercontinental wars. The buildings and structures were made of pure white crystal that had looked fragile, but at the same time are sturdy.

The roads in the city stretched out through all different kinds of directions. Each of the structures and houses were placed in a uniform manner. There was order and peace in this place protected by the light of Azrael.

Its inhabitants uniformly looked the same. They had platinum-blonde hair whether short or long it did not matter. Their eyes had the shade of azure in them and their skin tone was light, almost pale for that matter. Whether male or female, child or adult, they had the same look.

The city itself was encased in a protective force imager to conceal themselves from the oppressive outside world. These people were known now as the Gradje race. A race that had lived through oppression and fear. They as a race used their fear to develop their power and get stronger.

The Gradje's had been born from Azrael's bloodline himself. They were the children of the light and they swore their loyalty to the deity that they worship like a father.

Yue lay on the bed and was fast asleep. She had a blanket over her body and her head had a warm towel on it. She was in the guest room of the Gradje place and Seiryu accompanied her as she rested. Elaina had cleared their group to enter the city in exchange for information on where Elle was and what had happened to her.

Lucian walked with Fran and Elaina as she toured them inside the palace. They had learned that the light maiden had been one of the three current leaders of the Gradje nation.

"Such an amazing civilization." Lucian said to her while they walked. "I wonder why you kept yourselves from the world?" he asked.

Elaina didn't answer him immediately. Her thoughts lingered on the light she saw.

They had reached a stop. In front of them was a wall with a huge portrait of Elaina and another girl who looked exactly like her. They were wearing elegant dresses in the shade of white. The portrait depicted them both seated down on chairs beside each other. Their faces were serious.

"Pretty." Fran said as she eyed who Elaina was. The two girls on the photo both had long hair still. "So who is who?" she asked her.

"Elaina is the girl on the right." Lucian said with a smile. The light maiden was surprised that he figured it out immediately.

"How did you know?" she asked him.

Lucian pointed at the girl on the left. She had a faint smile even though she had a serious face.

"Miss Elaina always carried that serious demeanor from the looks of it." He said with a smile. "While the other girl seemed to be holding her emotions. It must have been tough for the painter to paint her for she seemed so restless." He speculated as he smiled.

Elaina was a bit surprised with Lucian's perception. She thought for a moment that wisdom had been with the teen even though he had darkness residing in him.

"Elleanor was indeed a restless one." Elaina said. "She was the joyful twin as they said when we were younger." She added.

"So you mean that you and Elle?" Fran asked her but she was cut off.

"Yes." The maiden said to her. "Elleanor is my twin sister." She said to her.

"The similarities are indeed uncanny." Lucian said. "No wonder. Now we know that you and Elle were sisters by blood." He said to her in response.
