HIROGERU (Season 2)

Episode 27 - End Zones

Elaina and Isaac rushed towards the end of the holy city grounds that they were standing in. The man wearing the white robed were now accompanied by armored soldiers. Their armor was ebony in color laced with gold on the sides. Swords and shields were equipped by them as their weapons.

"What's the emergency?" Elaina asked them. Isaac stood right beside her.

"The force imager." One of the priestesses wearing the white robed said to her. "It began to malfunction and act wryly." She added.

"Impossible." The maiden replied to them. "The only thing that can make it do that is if comes into contact with Darkness of pure quality." She said to them.

"Those that are wielded by Ezreal's followers themselves are the only ones that can break through here." Isaac said to them.

"I know milady." The other white robed man said to her. "But it is acting wry nonetheless." He said.

"Not only that." The priestess said to them. "We've also detected intruders closing in to our systems." She said to her as she handed her a mechanism of some sort.

It was a sphere screen that was handed to Elaina. She held it with the palm of her hand and looked to see what was going on. The Sphere Screen is the contraption that they had made to see what was going on in the outside world. Their civilization was protected from conventional means and could not be accessed easily because of the force imager that had shielded their material qualities from the world of Gaia.

This way it was easy to preserve their kind. Azrael's bloodline that is.

On the sphere screen, Elaina saw a group of teens that were stranded on the edge of the crater canyon that had been in front of them. She saw the tank like contraption as well. What had stood out however was the sight of two people to her. One of them was a teen who had long hair and red eyes. He wore a black hooded jacket with a white shirt inside. Black pants he wore as well with white slip on sneakers.

The sight of his red eyes triggered a reaction from within Elaina.

"Those eyes." She thought to herself. "Could it be?" she asked herself from within.

The other was the sight of one teen who had black hair of average length. His yellow eyes stood out. The boy was wearing a white long sleeved shirt and blue slim fit jeans for his pants. His shoes were white leather shoes.

"Him as well." Elaina thought to herself "I feel the darkness within the both of them. Not just average darkness but something else." She thought to herself.

"What should we do milady?" the priestess who handed over the sphere screen said to her.

Isaac looked a bit worried. He saw Elaina a bit more serious now. The intensity on her eyes had been more noticeable.

"I'll deal with them." She said.

Her guardian held her arm and pulled her slightly.

"Let me go." She said to him.

"Milady, let me accompany you." He said to her. "They could be serious trouble." He added.

"As you wish." She said coldly to him and shook him off of her. She looked towards the priestesses and the others. "Lock down the entire area if necessary. Keep our bloodline safe and alive." Elaina commanded them.

The maiden stretched out her hand and opened a light energy void gate right in front of her. She and Isaac went through the gate while the rest of the people in their community had prepared to lock down their sacred land.

Seiryu tried to stand up but the power of the light was strong and it felt like it was burning his insides. Lucian was doing a bit better as he tried to shake off the pain. They felt the light get stronger as a light void gate had opened right before all of them. Yue armed herself with her staff and like the rest of their group they prepared themselves for the fight coming up ahead.
