Episode 28 - An Omniscient Force and An Immovable Diety

"You think you can defeat me?" Elaina asked her adversary in a very cold and bold manner as light spirit energy built up around her. Yue was not amazed and remained unfazed.

The Treyah special ops soldier now conjured darkness around her arms while she held on her metal staff.

"A battle of magic." The maiden said to her. "You are indeed a smart one." She said to her.

"Naturally." Yue replied whilst she conjured darkness energy around her. Her eyes glowed a bright blue as she processed her magic energy. "Physical attacks won't work against your light barrier." She said and immediately darkness flame blasts made their way towards the light maiden.

Elaina stood right in front of her with her right hand stretched out. The darkness flares that were raging were destroyed by a barrier that she conjured out of light.

"Smart yes, strong no." she said confidently but when she looked to where Yue was standing, the latter was not there. "What the?!" she then said with a shocked expression.

The azure-haired girl reappeared to her left side and this time lightning energy were building themselves up at the tips of her index and middle fingers. Her staff was now folded and holstered in her hip case.

"Raijinoken! (Lightning Sword)" Yue shouted as lightning rays were blasted from her fingers.

The result was different however, because the light maiden was caught slightly off-guard. She was fortunate enough to dodge the attack but she was still hit with a glimpse of it. Elaina felt her armor tremble from the impact of the lightning attack whilst she landed on the ground.

Yue as well landed on the ground now and put both of her hands near the sand. A yellow circular magic seal appeared beneath her and in an instant, a series of earthquakes erupted and the fissure impact made its way towards the light maiden.

"What the?!" Elaina shouted as she tried to dodge the incoming fissure impact towards her. She jumped high in the air and the azure haired soldier once again anticipated this.

Yue once again charged up lightning on her fingers but this time the bolts were red in color. A huge lightning surge made its way towards Elaina and it was a bit too fast for her to dodge it.

"Hand of Thor!" Yue shouted as her attack made impact with the light maiden.

Elaina felt the lightning explosion and was a bit staggered by the magic attack. She landed on the ground however like nothing happened. The maiden had a serious look on her face.

"This is Yue's power?!" Lei thought to herself whilst she witnessed her companion in combat. She was surprised that Yue has control of all the elemental innates at her disposal.

"Why didn't I notice it before?" Elaina said to her coldly.

"You never stop talking do you?!" Yue shouted at her and she now charged up her fires around her.

"The majestic and masterful control of all the elemental innates." Elaina said to her as she charged up her light energy as well. "Gaiae vos progenie veniente (You are Gaia's child)." She said to her.

Isaac for one was surprised at what he heard from her.

"Non potest esse! Et tantum Ezreal Azrael sunt filiis suis! (Impossible! Only Ezreal and Azrael are her children)." He said to her in the same language.

"I know." Elaina said to him.

"Are we going to talk or are we going to fight?!" Yue shouted at them.

"That dialect." Lucian said whilst he tried to sit up.

"It's the same as what the nuns at Sanctum dei Gaia spoke." Seiryu said as he remembered being there two years ago.
