"I'm beat." Celestine dropped on a log greased with moss. She didn't seem to care. She buried her hands in her palms.
"Me too," Mickey sat down beside her.
"Mike!" Celestine said as Mike's pile of blue hair tingled her shoulders.
"Now what'd I do?" Mike mused.
"Remember? Personal space?"
Mike groaned. He shifted a step away.
"That's like two inches!" Celestine said.
"Damn!" Mickey sprang up the rock and sat on a rock near the log.
I brushed up the floor and sat down. Misty did the same thing. I kept my chin on my palms. I was a losing a hella amount of energy.
Kyle leaned against a tree, far as possible from us.
"When I said personnel space I didn't mean like five yards." Celestine said.
"Nah, I'm okay this way." Kyle said pegging at his phone.
I gnashed. The fact that he was a loner annoyed me. The fact that he was so...charming, annoyed me. The fact that he was standing yards away from us, probably because of me, annoyed me. Long story short, everything about this guy annoyed me.
"Destiny, it's not about you," Kyle said.
"I-I? I said nothing," I stammered.
"You said nothing," he said grimly still keeping his eyes fixed on the monitor.
"Then why the hell are you-?"
"I see what you're thinking,"
"Does anybody have gum?" Mike interrupted.
"NO!" All of us screamed.
"We better start moving," Kyle got up and sprang ahead.
"We've been on the move," Celestine said. "We're not there yet! Ugh!"
"Does anybody have peppermint?" Mike asked.
"NO!" We chorused.
By the time we were brushing away the dust and standing up, Kyle was nowhere to be seen.
"Great." I said scanning around. "Where's he?"
"It's okay. He knows around. It's anyway good if he takes the lead," Celestine said.
"Do anybody got fizz pop?" Mike asked.
"NO!" We chorused.
"I need some freshin' up," Mike whined as we walked.
"No, you don't, Mike." Celestine said. "You're legit too addicted to gum, pepermint and stuff,"
"What's wrong with chewing one gum per day?" Mike complained.
"And a can of soda,"
"But it's just one,"
Celestine rolled her eyes. "Shut it! Make a move,"
Mike stopped beside me. He cupped his hand over his mouth and whispered, "Really love annoying her,"
I smiled.
I looked at Mickey. He was tripping and sliding down the rocks and clumsily following Celestine. Celestine was looking around and tracing the trail. Mushy was falling back, side by side with me.
"The phoenix likes me," I said.
"Who?" Mike asked.
"Mushy,"

OBLITERATE- The Ring of fire
Science FictionIt's the end. Obliteration. It came out obvious with Martians starting to act like jerks, but what Destiny did not know was that she was involved in stopping it and causing it. Talk about double acting. There were other things she did not know...
