Orchid took Multicolor Pen to the lobby, and Sign called the others for a meeting. "Everyone, meet Multicolor Pen. They'll be joining us in this building!" Everyone looked at him for a moment, making the situation feel a bit awkward. Then, he got up and introduced himself as if he were his human self. 'Hi, I'm Multicolor Pen. I'm some dude who was randomly thrown into this universe. I guess I'll be on this bandwagon for quite a while, and I hope I can get along with at least some of you here." Multicolor Pen went back to his seat, and Medal explained the 'randomly thrown into this universe' thing to him. "Welcome to the object realm, buddy. That same thing happened to us all, so you can ask any of us about it."
The meeting concluded, and everyone went to their rooms, except for Sign and Multicolor Pen. Sign ran to get a room key for him and came back quickly. "Welcome to the Object Realm Apartment Hotel, here is your room key. Enjoy your time here!" Multicolor Pen left and searched for his room upstairs. He seemed lost, so Orchid went and helped him. He got inside his room and looked around to see how the place was. However, he didn't mind how it was, as long as he had a place to stay. The confusing and sudden experience of going into another universe wore him out, and he was too tired to care about quality at a time like this.
The next day, Multicolor Pen woke up early.

He just woke up, and it looks early out. Orchid slipped a letter beneath the door, and there's a tour of the building today. It reads,
To Multicolor Pen:
There will be a tour of the building today for you to get used to the new environment. I'll be the tour guide, with Sign and Medal coming along with us. Do be ready by 10 am; remember that time works nearly the same here as it does in the human realm! I understand that this may be a time of confusion, so feel free to ask questions about the object realm along the way.
Yours truly,
Orchid.
It was about 8 am according to the clock in his room, so he had plenty of time to get ready.

The clock said 10 am, and the tour started.
"So to your left, there's the reception desk that we don't use anymore. Let's move forward and take a left turn, and you'll see..."
As the tour went on, Multicolor Pen asked Medal about the whole "object realm" thing. "So how was it like coming here?" Medal answered him. "I was falling asleep as it happened. I almost dozed off, and then I ended up here. I didn't even get the full 8 hours I needed! At least, that's what my old soccer coach said."
A bit later, the tour ended. "And if you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, do feel free to contact me or Sign whenever available." Sign continued for her. "We will be doing some cool stuff, and you can do other things individually if you'd like. Nobody cares if you leave for a little bit." Multicolor Pen began to wonder what he meant by 'cool stuff', but he didn't bother asking. He went outside, seeing the differences between here and his homeland. Earth. All he wanted was to go back. He wanted to go back to the apartment, with his human friends. He felt like his life would have been better off without the sudden teleportation. But he also wanted to stay here. He was conflicted about which life he would prefer, but he gave up and went back inside.
