The next day, the team drove back to Crystal Ball's cave, hoping to get the crystals back. With her sibling telepathy, Orchid knew Crystal Ball had lied yesterday about what would happen with the crystals, and that she was trying to manipulate Rose. She confronted Crystal Ball yet again, harsher this time. "We both know what you said was a lie. We both know nothing will happen that would affect anyone besides you and your inflated ego. Hand over the crystals, otherwise, something much worse will happen. I have powers too, and so does Rose. We all have powers created equal, you just amplify yours to feel superior. I'll go as far as to say that you're a corrupt leader! Yes, that's right. Corrupt. There's no better way to say this, sister. I'd apologize, but when it comes to things like this, I'm always unapologetic. Now, the crystals, please." Crystal Ball was just standing there, processing what her twin sister had just said. "You think I'm handing them over that easily? I'm not giving up without a harsh battle!" Ignoring what her sister said, Orchid used her telekinesis to grab the crystals. That made Crystal Ball even more annoyed, so she used her power to grab the team and drag them back into the cave as they were leaving. "You heard me. You guys can keep the crystals, but what I wanted was a tough battle. The crystals amplify the powers of anyone in the bloodline, so the fight's fair as long as we leave them in the middle of the grass field. Yes, it's gonna be in the grass field, also known as my backyard that nobody cares for."
Crystal Ball threw the team into the field, and the fight began. Orchid got the first hit, throwing spears at her enemy. Rose made thorns rise from the ground, but missed. Then, Crystal Ball took her chance to attack. She used the thorns to lock Rose to the ground, rendering her unable to do anything. Then, she created big crystal shards and surrounded Orchid with a fence-like structure. Rose broke out of the thorns and obscured Crystal Ball's vision with a swarm of roses flying around in the air. Orchid broke through the barrier and launched the shards at Crystal Ball. The glass cracked, but she was still up for the fight. Crystal Ball got the roses out of her sight and summoned a hailstorm. Orchid and Rose used the crashing hailstones to their advantage, flinging them at their opponent. Crystal Ball ended the hailstorm knowing what would happen. She then ended the battle there and made a statement. "Alright, fine. You guys win, I don't care anymore. Take one crystal and nothing more, keep it as a souvenir. I'm not ending the world, it's just too entertaining to get rid of. Besides, I can just banish the bad people into what I like to call the Bad People Jail and never let them out." It was already night, and the team took their crystal and went home.
The next day, Orchid and Rose's powers randomly turned on throughout daily tasks. If Orchid was fixing her bed, the pillows would flip over without anything touching them. If Rose was painting, the brush would slip out of her hand and make strokes where it wasn't supposed to. This caused no harm, but it was very irritating for the two. They figured it had something to do with the crystal, so they broke it. However, that only made the effects worse, as the magic radiated out of the crystal easier, so they had to figure something out. Orchid noticed that the split core of the crystal glowed, so she tried prying it out and getting rid of it. That worked, so she put it back together and put it on display on her shelf. It served as a memory of their journey, and what led to its end.
Multicolor Pen also thought back to the journey, and how it was going to be another thing to remember when he returned to the human realm—if ever. He then began to question if he was ever going to return to his homeland. He enjoyed the object realm but also liked life on Earth with his buddies. He went to sleep, still thinking about what he thought would happen in the future.
