"Looks like I can't really do my job in this state." Sign had broken his right arm, the dominant one. Everyone was shocked, since he was known for being careful. "Been there, feel bad for ya," Medal said while shooting a quick glance at Backpack. "I remember." they leered at him. "I know, I know, I'm sorry. That was years ago, so it's not important right now. What's important is WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO MANAGE THE PLACE?!" Backpack exclaimed, startled, confused, and concerned all at once. "That's where I come in," Orchid reassured as she walked in on the conversation. "As the co-manager and assistant, it's my duty to do the job when no one else can. After all, I'm always by his side, so it only makes sense." Everyone went silent, and looked at her. "Thanks," Sign was happy that he had such a dedicated assistant. "I've to go to the ER now, someone please help." Medal drove him over to the ER, and the day continued as usual.
Meanwhile, Orchid was twice as busy as she normally was. Now, she had to deal with the property forms, important files, and other things. "Man," Orchid thought. "He has to deal with all this, poor him. At least he gets a break now." She was definitely a tad bit stressed from Sign suddenly leaving the team, but she managed to push through, since it was her job. After all, if no one else could, she would do it.
Rose was concerned for her older sibling, for she hadn't seen her in a while, but she wasn't aware of what happened. Once she was informed, she got even more worried. "But what if she overworks herself?!" She was crying to Ribbon so she could get her thoughts out to somebody. "Don't worry, this'll be temporary. As soon as Sign comes back, everything'll be back to normal." "But it's still a possibility! She's gonna be managing the place on top of her usual job, you never know what could happen." "Just know that whatever happens, I'll be here for you. We may not know each other, but we can still connect." Rose wiped away her tears, and she slightly grinned with gratitude. "Well, I'm glad someone's here for me. I've always been prone to randomly breaking down, and I hope you can help me resolve that even a little bit." "I will, I promise."
