Chapter 5. We Ride

walking away slowly I heard Stefan ask Jack if he liked me. The odd thing was, my twin brother has never been one to be that blunt and straight forward.

It scared me a little. Making my way up the stairs to my bedroom I felt my Iphone vibrate in my pocket, reaching for it I seen the name and picture of my best friend Charlie.

" Ola menina! como você está fazendo?" [hello baby girl how are you doing?] she said in Portuguese.

"Bem, em choque, mas muito bem." [fine, in shock but fine] I responded. switching back to English she continued,

"Well what are you doing today? We need a girls day, I know what happened was a lot to handle. But you can't stay in your house forever! You need to get out and do something!"

I laughed softly thinking about the ride I had suggested to Jack and my brother a little bit ago.

"Well if you wanna go riding with me and the boys be here in thirty minutes." I heard Charlie fumbling around her room trying to get dressed I presumed.

"I'll be there in fifteen she said with a giggle as she hung up. I made my way over to my bathroom and jumped in the shower. Exactly fifteen minutes later I heard my bedroom door open and close as Charlie walked into my bathroom.

"Hey sorry I really need to pee." she said closing the bathroom door as I got out of the shower with my towel wrapped around my body.

"Way to just walk in Charlotte." Laughing I make my way to my closet grabbing darkwash skinny jeans, my underwear, a bra, tank , and a long sleved button up shirt. After I got dressed I began brushing my hair.

"So where should we go?" Charlie looked up from my vanity smiling. "I think we should go to Las Palmas?" This girl always wanted to party.

"Seriously Charlie? On Bikes? the boys will want to drink and I don't like the whole drinking and driving thing. Especially the drinking and riding a street-bike thing..."

She gave me her best pouty face and then smiled a thought suddenly coming to her mind. "well don't you guys have an apartment there? We can stop there and take a taxi or something to the club and then spend the night there afterwards, then no one would have to drive drunk and everyone can do as they please! " she smiled again looking proud of herself for coming up with a plan she new I couldn't refuse.

"Fine... I guess that works, I have clothes and make-up there we can change into, I think the boys have stuff too.." and with that she jumped up and hugged me tight.

A few minutes later we met the boys out front of the garage. "So what are you doing here Charlie?"

Sebastian asked with a little annoyance in his eyes. He loved Charlie like another sister but sometimes he couldn't stand having her around.

She smiled at him with a smug look on her eyes as she said, "Sofiah, MY best friend, YOUR baby sister, asked me if I wanted to come too!" She stuck her tongue out at him and giving him a dirty look.

"Anyways, Charlie suggested that after we ride we go to Las Palmas, anyone up for that?" I looked questioningly at my brothers and Jack who was the first one to speak up. 

"I'd love to but I have nothing to wear and we are going to be on bikes so how will that work?" I smiled at Charlie as I began explaining our little plan,

"Well we do have the apartment in LA and Charlie and I were thinking that we could stop there and change, I'm sure one of my brothers will have something for you to wear Jack, and from there we can walk to the club."

"I looked up how far it is from the apartment and it's only like a block and a half away. Then after we can crash and come home in the morning or afternoon depending on when everyone gets up!"

I smiled happy with myself for explains the plan so clearly. "Fine.." Steven began, "but if I see you or Charlie drinking I will not hesitate to drag your sorry asses back to the apartment for the remainder of the night. You got it? We need at least two 'sober-navigators' to help us on the right direction when we decide to leave and since you two are the youngest I have volunteered you both!"

Steven smiled and turned openin the grage door and walking in. I stopped paying attention and ended up walking straight into Jacks back falling backwards and hitting the floor, "Ouch! What the hell Jack?"

I looked up to see Jack with his mouth wide open. Charlie came up next to me offering me her hand, I took it standing up and walking over to Jack pushing his mouth shut.

"Stop gawking Jack your going to catch bugs in your mouth." I giggled as Jack snapped back to reality. "WOW! I've never seen no many cars in one place! it's like a dealership!"

"Stop gawking Jack your going to catch bugs in your mouth." Sofiah giggled as I looked at my Surroundings, the garage was the size of a small house and looked like the garage from the movie X-MEN.

"WOW! I've never seen so many cars in one place! It's like a care dealership!" everyone including a pretty blonde girl laughed.

"Hey, hey, hey! stop laughing! its not that funny! " The blonde looked at me and smiled "It is actually! but its okay because the same thing happened to me when I first came to play with Sofi when we were eight." she gave me a pat on the back and walked over to a line of amazing looking street bikes.

"So you done staring?" Sofi asked as she walked over to me. "Uh.. Yeah... why do you guys have so many cars?" Sofiah looked up at me and smiled, "Well when we were little my dad started collecting cars, it started when he bought a 67' Chevelle,"

As everyone started looking for leather motorcycle jackets Sofi motioned for me to follow her down the row of old cars, "Then he bought this 69' Camaro SS, then the Shelby Cobra and the 69' Challanger, and the 68' Porche, all of these were his babies."

Sofiah looked up at me smiling. For woman  she new a lot about cars, I could tell from the way she talked about each of them. Her face lit up and she seemed to just glow.

"You guys ready?!" Stefan called from the other side of the garage. The blonde girl walked up to Sofi handing her a leather jacket and smiling.

"Yea, if we don't leave now then we won't be able to take back streets and we will have to take the freeway, and I hate taking the freeway on a motorcycle!" She laughed handing me a jacket turning around motioning for us to the bikes.

"Charlie why do you always take mine?" Sofiah asked 'Charlie' (I think that's her nick name) with a cute giggle. What was wrong wit hme 'cute giggle?'

"Yea Sofi I do because it's perfect for my height?" Charlie laughed zipping up her jacket and putting on her helmet.

Sofiah laughed turning to me laughing and asked, "which one do you want to ride?" I looked around and pointed. At a Suzuki 1100 that was red, black and silver.

"Okay, here's a helmet. Lets go I wanna ride!" Sofiah smiled put on her helmet and started her bike. She looked amazingly sexy on that street bike.

I think I'm going to start building suspense at the end of each chapter :)
